I offer music lessons & classes for children & adults ages 4-99. Woodwind clinics for school bands are also available.

Channing Stenhouse is a music instructor based in both Grimshaw & Peace River, AB. Beginning fall 2015, she will be offering private and class music lessons to children, youth, and adventurous adults in the Peace Region.

Channing has taught music across Canada and the US. Most recently, she was a Music Appreciation instructor at the University of Memphis. From 2012-2014 Channing taught group clarinet and foundations classes for Kids’ Orchestra in Baton Rouge, LA. There, she was awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award in 2013. Prior to moving to the United States, she taught clinics and private lessons at Lethbridge Conservatory of Music from 2009-2011. She’s taught students ages 4-25 general music, singing, theory, and instruments including clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, saxophone, recorder, and beginner piano.

Channing holds a Master of Music degree from Louisiana State University (’14) and a Bachelor of Music degree from University of Lethbridge (’11).
