StoneSmiths Granite And Marble takes sculpting and polishing very seriously. The owner Justin Smith founded the company with one goal in mind. His dream was to find and collect True StoneSmiths, men and women who devoted their lives for their love of the art. People that shared his passion for taking a raw, natural product and sculpting it into beautiful works of art that unfold uniformally across the surfaces of your kitchen as if it cut out of the mountain just for you. We are one of the few remaining and Artisticly driven Stone Arts Men that deliver True High Quality shops that provide a "genuine" chemical free finish and therefore will "literally" never fade, dull or lose its shine. We are extremely passionate, we scrutinize every detail to ensure your vision is fully developed and realized. We have been devoted to the production of High Quality Custom stone for over 15 years and pride ourselves at having exceptional attention to detail as well as having very open and honest business practices. We do not up charge on our Stone, you pay our wholesale price for the stone and then we charge $40 per square foot for template, fabrication and installation. Our business strategy is based on a few simple philosophies. 1. Provide an open and honest service without the price gouging we are all subjected to everyday. 2. Never use any chemical “enhancers” that temporarily mask imperfect or improper fabrication processes guaranteeing every kitchen will have a 100% “genuine” high quality finish that will never fade or diminish 3. Back these promises with a 5 year warranty while at the same time keeping our prices 20 to 70% lower than any leading competitor.

We place a lot of emphasis on our 5 year warranty as it is far more comprehensive and trustworthy than the industry standard of 1 – 2 years. The main reason being that, after about a year has passed the shine and color enhancers that almost every shop uses to “mimic” the look of “high quality” begins to break down therefore leaving behind the original finish that is subpar to satisfactory at best. This happens an average of 70 - 90% of the time as business is mostly a numbers game to most company owners. The reason this has become common practice is most people either assume they haven’t taken proper care of the stone or they just don’t notice the changes as they are gradual and can take up to 3 years to fully manifest themselves. However there are a few obvious issues that rarely happen during the first 2 years therefore always end up costing the homeowner anywhere between $500 - $10, 000. Theses include kitchen or bathroom sinks falling down due to failures in correct sink installation procedures such as making sure the sink and stone are completely dust and grease free, adding abrasion to the rim of the sink so the binding agent provides maximum adhesion between the sink and the stone and cradling the sink with steel strapping therefore making it physically u impossible for the sink to ever fall down. The other main issue that happens after 2 years is any seams in the stone will begin to show signs breaking apart as most installers will use clamps or a handful of other “quick” methods that actually force the pieces being seamed together to be level with each other. By doing this they unknowingly leave the seam under constant stress as the forces of gravity and leverage will constantly be at work trying to return the separate pieces to their natural resting state. Any improper methods used always show up within 4 years which is why our 5 year warranty puts us at the top of being the most trustworthy Stone providers. Stone Arts Men (or StoneSmiths as I like to call them) as well as a highly educated and very experienced sales team. As long as I can remember, since I was a child, I have had what I have to come to call a “guilty conscience” therefore I never have and probably never will but most importantly refuse to do anything dishonest, immoral or unethical because working for each other is much more fulfilling, profitable (at the end of the day) and important then Only working for ourselves.
