Stoney Trail Mazda

Had a great experience at this dealership. They gave me a fair price for my vehicle I traded in and gave me a great deal on my brand new CX-5. Abdullah was great to deal with and gave me all the information I needed to make my decision. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and found the right one for me that suited my needs.

I recently bought a Mazda CX-5 from Stoney Trail Mazda. I was exceptionally pleased with the service from the time we walked into the showroom until we drove our new vehicle away. I have to say that the service from Anna, the delivery specialist, and Sunday, the finance manager, were over -the -top amazing. Anna's knowledge of the cars and features was incredible, and Sunday made the tedious job of signing forms and talking about the money aspect not just tolerable, but enjoyable. Thanks for your great customer service. We are already Mazda lovers, but the high standard of customer care will make its return to this dealership. ❤️

I have never enjoyed purchasing a vehicle in the past. Going to dealerships was an uncomfortable experience because I never knew if they were trying to actually help me or not. The entire experience at Stoney Trail Mazda was wonderful! I primarily dealt with Jeff as my salesperson - very friendly and patient with the process. When having to sign all the paperwork I was well taken care of by Sunday in finance. Jeff, Sunday and manager at the dealership made the day so enjoyable when I came to pick up the Mazda! Both Brittney and the manager were great with the walkthrough of the vehicle and how to use it; that was very helpful and appreciated!

Wonderful experience with the Sales Department at Stoney Trail Mazda. We were welcomed by a nice lady at the reception desk as soon as we walked through the door. She quickly found someone to look after us. Our salesperson was pleasant, knowledgeable and not pushy. In our case, it also helped that we were repeat Mazda owners so we already knew how great their products are. In our opinion, Mazda's are more fun to drive and look better than the cars we cross-shopped. In the end, we got a great deal and are very happy!

Had a great experience with Stoney Trail Mazda. Arjun was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend you take him with you for a test drive to see what the car is really capable of. All the staff is great and I feel they went above and beyond to make this happen for us as well as to make this a better experience than we've had with other dealerships in the last 2 years. They even got the car shipped here rushed so we could have it in time to take it on our road trip the next day. LOVE my new 2017 Mazda 3. Mazda is just a great car in general! Had a new 2009 Mazda as my 1st car and loved it, but the 2017 is even better! Very pleased with our choice. All very nice staff :) would definitely recommend!

I purchased my Mazda6 here , and visited scheduled mainteance twice a year.

Based in my experience, I never recommended this dealership to my friends. The car is pretty good , made in Japan quality. As Mazda fan, I never buy next Mazda here again.

I drove in to Stony Trail Mazda hoping to purchase one of four 2015 Mazda3s. Like a dumbass, I didn't call ahead.

Three of the Mazda3s had been sold, and Abdullah freely admitted the fourth one was just back from the body shop after a bad accident. Abdullah referred us to David Sosa at North Hill Mazda for another Mazda3 and I placed a deposit later that night.

Now I'm driving a beautiful (almost) new Mazda3. I'm impressed by this standup behaviour and would return again the next time I need a car. Thanks Abdullah, David owes you one!

We were looking to buy a Mazda3, and were looking for a particular combination - hatchback, GT, manual transmission, white interior. Stoney Trail Mazda's sales person was pleasant, had us test drive a car, and looked up on their computer and said one of their affiliated dealerships had exactly the car we were looking for, and for a small deposit they could bring it over in a day or two for us to view. We agreed, and the runaround started.

Two days later, I had to phone, and was told that the car he mentioned had actually been sold, but he was getting another car from an out of town dealer that matched our requirements - but it would be two more days before it arrived. Again, two days later, no call, I phoned, and was told of a further delay of 4 days, to the following Monday. Monday arrived, and I was told the car would be in Tuesday. I asked again for a price quote, and after hearing nothing by the end of the day, I asked to speak to a manager. It turned out that there was no car being transported from another dealer for us, they had no idea why the salesman kept telling us a car meeting our specs was on it's way, Even while apologizing profusely, we asked if they could indeed get the car from another dealer, and after two days more they still could not tell us if they could get the car. To their credit, the only thing Stoney Trail Mazda did right for us was return the deposit promptly when asked.

Stoney Trail Mazda had jerked us around and misled us for over 10 days without managing to get the car we wanted to buy from them. I was able to phone the other Mazda dealer in Edmonton myself, confirm they had the car we wanted, and agree on a price within 10 minutes. 2 days later I took delivery in Edmonton. I will certainly be letting people know of my horror story in trying to deal with Stoney Trail Mazda, and recommending that people avoid them when shopping for a new car. I will strongly recommend the Mazda brand, but not from Stoney Trail.

As an owner of multiple Mazdas, I will not be returning for any future business here - purchase nor service.

My wife took her Mazda 5 in for a 24k service, and got a call back stating that brake rotors are warped (at 24k! on OEM pads, with very gentle mom-style driving!) and recommends additional $160 for machining the rotors.

I took over the call stating that things don't add up - I had felt no symptoms of rotor warp - no steering wheel/pedal vibration at either low or high speed stops; The car still has low km, pads are still almost in new condition, everything has been wearing evenly (tires/pads/etc). I calmly explained that if the rotors are indeed warped, I would expect them to cover under warranty if he expects any future business with us.

Their service manager states that he would not do that, and it's my prerogative whether I do future business with them or not (Certainly is!)

So I didn't pay for the rotor machining, again tested and felt ZERO vibration/shuddering, and upon checking the returned paperwork, they wrote that the rotor thickness variation were "just within means" and we should keep eyes on it rather than explicitly stating rotors are warped (like the service manager stating that it was).

So my impression: It was a case of 1) unnecessary "girl charge", or 2) if it is indeed "warped", they should've covered that under warranty, as there's almost no possibility they should've warped that early at our driving pattern/mileage. And finally, 3) service manager didn't care whether I was unhappy and was not willing to address my concerns (which I felt were reasonable - you decide), and didn't care for capturing my return business.

Decide for yourself this is the type of service you expect from a dealer service shop. Needless to say, I've promptly taken off the dealer sticker and threw their plate holder in the garbage. I'll take my money elsewhere next time.
