Stoney'S Bar And Grill

Very disappointed with our lunch with family today! Fish tacos are not the same as they used to be....very plain and ordinary...caesar salad such a disappointment! Would be so nice if this restaurant could be consistent with their lunch time menu! Love the view, but will not be back for awhile!!

I don't even want to give this bar and grill one star!! We recently ordered grilled strip loin steaks that came to our table not grilled but gray coloured with a few grill marks on them. They were barely warm, one was dry and both were tough.

We sent them both back to the kitchen, much to the chagrin of our waitress. Taking them back, she said she would brown them more. That did not happen, as they both came back as gray looking as they were before.

The setting and the scenery are out of this world but I would not recommend the food to my worst enemy.

We will never go back!!!!!!!

Terrific afternoon at Stoney's Bar and Grill. Fantastic staff. I will visit again when I return to Canada.

Great place to take a date, awesome Mountain views, plenty wild life in the area.

Great go to restaurant with very good and consistent quality and service (Isabelle is top notch). Views are great with a bright airy atmosphere. Patio can't be beat in the summer. As a local, off season lunch pricing is appreciated.

The signage could be better. We got to the resort well enough but we had to walk around until we found the right building. The service was friendly and the food was very good; however, everything is a la carte, which means my husband paid $26 for 140 grams of steak and had to buy his potato for $7. I had the burger ($16) which was very good but I had to pay an addional $7 for fries. Not very good value considering the many other choices in Canmore. I doubt we'll return.
