I was referred to Dr. Storwick because of a pigmentation on my neck. As I lay down so "he could get a better look", he lifts my shirt and asks if I have pigmentation anywhere else! I was horrified! Avoid at all costs.
I also got affirm laser done from here from Kristen, a environmental science major, who has absolutely NO IDEA what she's doing whatsoever. When I would return to her monthly for my sessions with no obvious result, she would assure me it was because I had "dark skin" and lasers weren't so nice to people with my skintone (?!). Thanks for telling me that wasting $600 of mine. Useless.
Save your money, time and sanity and avoid this place.
On a positive note Dr. Storwick did an excellent job removing the basel cell carcinoma on the inside of my ankle.
Areas of concern: 25 minute wait, wrong patient taken in the examining room ( We both had the same first name), Dr. Storwick did not read the new patient questionnaire I had completed for him. He walked into the examining room saying " It's been awhile!" I told him, This is the first time you are seeing me!",
abrupt, does not take the time to explain the procedures he is doing, no post operative instructions given to the patient.
Very disappointed and will not return or recommend Dr. Storwick or his clinic. I waited 45 minutes and still no doctor and no communication on when he might honour the appointment. At 30 minutes late I asked reception if this was normal and was told yes, but I'm next. At 45 minutes late a nurse (?) responded that " he is a specialist'. I left. Does the doctor not respect his patients enough to communicate with them or to be prompt? Patients must take time away from their work to sit and wait for the doctor to make an appearance and not one staff member attempted an apology. Disgusting business practice.
Super friendly staff and great pricing. Everyone makes you feel very comfortable during your visit.
Dr. Storwick is a gem! I trusted him immediately and with the skin by my eye needing to be cut open... This was a huge relief! He is very, very talented with a scalpel and I'm so grateful he's my doctor!
Dr Storwick is very professional. Immediately diagnosed the issue and was very courteous. He definitely knows his stuff!
Dr storwick helped my mother and my daughter. He treated them both with respect and sensitivity. He made them feel comfortable as well they left no longer in fear but confident that he was going to do everything (including answering all their question and made sure they left with an answer they understood) possible to help. We leave there smiling and laughing everytime!
I have not been there in awhile so can't say if the situation at the front desk has changed but I hope so. Only other problem I have is that we need a new referral every time we go.
He is a fantastic specialist and I thank him for that !
