St.Paul Elite Theatre Description
The Elite Theatre is downtown and has three auditoriums with DTS digital sound. All theatres are fully wheel chair accessible. The toll-free movie information line allows out of town customers to check movie information free.
Matinees are held every Sunday afternoon and on selected days when children's pictures are playing. Birthday parties are welcome and the special family admission price allows large families to attend at a bargain price any time. Tuesday is discount night, with all seats at $6.

Took my littles to Ferdinand. Great speed. Lovely staff. It was super busy for a cheap Tuesday Matinee. We had a wonderful experience.

St. Paul Elite theatre has thee best popcorn and thee nicest employees. I will wait for a movie to come to St. Paul to watch it there, just because of the popcorn.

I love our local theatre and they have the best popcorn � sometimes we'll just stop in to buy a bag to go lol I love the variety of movies they bring in and they put it out to the public to see what they would like to see by voting � the staff are great as well �

I love how close this theatre is for me and i don't have to travel 3 hours just to watch a movie and the movies that come are great i was so happy to see moana and received outstanding service from one of the managers (ron i do believe)
Beauty and the Beast is a well put together show. If you like musicals, dance, Comedy, and a dark side. This is the movie to see.

I like the theater and the concession but when you advertise movies like Arthur and then dump it at the last minute it's frustrating and it's actually false advertisement. They call it bait and switch and it's illegal. You need to tell the powers-that-be only advertise what you're going to show.
Yummy yummy popcorn and good ice tea! The restroom roof sprung a leak and water was everywhere so I told a young fellow.
Why can't you guys get decent movies? I really wanted to see "in the heart of the sea" like wtf?
The newspaper advertised kung fu panda afternoon matinee at two we show up at 1:30 get our popcorn walking to the theater and it started at one not one so we were buying her ticket did he say to us do you know the movie has already started we paid for half a movie I was not impressed

It gets kinda packed at times in the small area up front where you pay.
I like this little theatre, however the snack choices are terrible. Instead of some kind of healthy snack, we get cotton candy? Come on guys, this 2017, let's be a bit more responsible for the health of your paying public. Diabetes rates are very high in this area, let's offer some better choices, maybe it will equal more people showing up instead of waiting for dvd/blueray/netflix. Small salads are made available from the local grocers, how hard would it be to make space for a dozen pre-made salads? You literally have zero healthy choices available when I go to the movies. Just sayin' :P
Have seen several movies here. The entry is awkward and dated, and the concession is limited and pricy (Cineplex is a cheaper place for popcorn etc). However, the theatres are comfortable with good sightlines. Parking is another matter...
If you choose to go, be prepared for showtime issues and pricyn snacks, but good mivues.
Will never be coming back to this theatre, until there is at least new management. I have never been treated so awful at a business. My husband and I finally had a night out, which rarely happens, and tried to use a movie magic combo coupon (which includes, two admission, a large popcorn and two medium drinks). The manager took the coupon, gave us our tickets for the movie, we went to concession and got the popcorn and pop, and headed in to get our seats, a few minutes later the manager came in to tell us that we owed him $25, because the coupon wasn't actually a free pass with free popcorn and pop, but just a discount. He was aggressive and rude to us. I offered to give back the food and drinks and leave the theatre, after a lot of back and forth, we stayed to watch the movie and did not pay the $25. After the movie he approached us again about the gift certificate in a rude manner. After going on the rainbow cinema website when I got home, I found that these magic combo coupons are SOLD for $25 a piece, retail value is $35. Which means companies or people buy these coupons for $25 a piece (having to buy at least 25 coupons as a minimum purchase) and this manager was trying to charge us another $25. The theatre would be getting $50 for two ppl watching a movie with a large popcorn and two medium drinks. That is fraud. He kept saying he was out the $25 because we stayed and watched the movie and had the popcorn and pop, but the $25 was paid when that movie magic combo coupon was bought. Had we paid it he would have made $50! $25 probably would have went straight into his own pocket. So if you have one of these passes, don't pay the $25, the person you got it from paid $25 to buy it and you'd be double paying. And if your looking for a gift certificate to pass out to friends or coworker, don't buy from here.
