Being a friendly neighbour: Valid Fort Saskatchewan Multi-Facility Pass memberships will be accepted at all Strathcona County Facilities (that accept Millennium Cards) until December 31, 2018.
Strathcona County and the City of Fort Saskatchewan councils approved an agreement at their September 11 council meetings, supporting a negotiated annexation, and exploration of a more formal alliance. Fort Saskatchewan will next submit a Notice of Intent to Annex with the Municipal Government Board.

In honour of Firefighters’ National Memorial Day, all flags at Strathcona County facilities will be lowered to half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Each year, the second Sunday of September is designated in memory of firefighters who have died in the line of duty.
