STRIX Ecological Consulting is an Alberta-based consulting company specializing in wildlife and vegetation monitoring; impact assessment; biophysical, wetland and sensitive species inventories; and wildlife management planning. With more than 15 years experience working on various wildlife projects, we help our clients meet legislative requirements, and develop and implement targeted research projects that achieve best management practices. Our work has led the way to setting wildlife monitoring and management standards in Alberta and across North America (see publications). Our clients include forestry, oil and gas, engineering firms, land developers, transportation and utilities, mining, all levels of government and non-governmental organizations.
