Stronks Feedlot Ltd.

Stronks Feedlot Ltd. is a growing Feedlot /Farming operation in Southern Alberta. We are excited to have involvement from the third generation!

Stronks Feedlot Ltd. was started in 1993 by Ed and Shirley Stronks with a vision of growing an agricultural operation to sustain their family and their future.

This brings us to where we are today. We are now a mixed operation including both irrigated and dryland farming operations, farming several thousand acres. We also own and operate several feed yards in southern Alberta and jointly own a feedlot in southern Saskatchewan.

Stronks Feedlot Ltd. also has commodity storage for rent and provides feedlot technology services for the feedlot industry (SSG Fusion).

We are proudly associated with AMG (allied marketing group) a group of 5 producers collaborating together for the success of all. Other associations include CAB (certified angus beef) ACFA (Alberta Cattle Feeders Association). Our Livestock is predominately marketed to Cargill Meat Solutions in High River and JBS Brooks. Lastly, all locations are VBP (verified beef program) meaning our feedlots are under audit to ensure food safety, and animal welfare is taken extremely seriously.
