Two weeks ago, I purchased my first vehicle, a new Mazda 3 Sport from Sundance Mazda. When I first visited this dealership, I was immediately helped by Riaz. He spent lots of time showing me the exact model of the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. He explained the different features, and answered all of the questions I had. He then drove me to see another one of these vehicles in their compound that was a different colour.



When I was ready to purchase the vehicle a week later, Riaz gave me lots of time and space to look at the vehicle again, and accompanied me on a test drive. I had done quite a bit of research on the price of this vehicle from Mazda Canada and other sources. The negotiation process was quick, and I left happy with the price I was able to negotiate. Maya (Finance Manager) was also very helpful. When I picked up the vehicle, Riaz spent a substantial amount time showing me different vehicle features and said to contact him anytime (including by text) if I had any questions. I was very impressed with the service I received from Riaz and Sundance Mazda. Riaz has won many sales awards, and after having purchased a vehicle from him, I understand why. I recommend Riaz and Sundance Mazda to anyone looking to purchase a Mazda in the Edmonton area; it is evident they really care about providing exceptional service to their customers and will work hard to ensure that they leave smiling.

The 2017 Mazda CX-5 is manufactured and assembled in Japan. With that in mind, I had a strong interest in checking out the 2017 CX-5 as a gift for the Mrs. despite having 2 other compact SUVs to see.



I strolled into Sundance Mazda with the intent of just checking things out after reading fantastic reviews of the 2017 CX-5. Brenton was the guy that helped me through the entire process. Mind you, I had already had my heart set on the CX-5, but dealing with Brenton solidified that choice and made the entire process all the more easy and smooth. I felt like I was dealing with a guy I’ve known for years!



He wasn’t pushy at all, in fact, he was quite practical on his suggestions. After advising him on the safety, accessories and other features I would like to see on the vehicle we narrowed it down to a trim and color that I thought the wife would like and went for a spin!



The great experience at Sundance Mazda did not stop there. Dealing with Brad @ finance was one of the most stress-free experience I’ve had from buying anything let alone a car. He worked on my behalf and gotten me excellent numbers!

Sundance Mazda truly is a family run business. My journey started with Riaz, who took the time to drive the CX-5 with me and was truly the reason I came back to Mazda for a third time! When I came back the third time unfortunately Riaz was away but I was put in good hands with Everett who handled my interrogating father very well and brought in Kevin when we wanted a really good number. When I finally decided I wanted the car Hope assisted Everett in making my experience move seamlessly. Brad in finance made me feel at ease and explicitly showed me every last detail of the finances and made me feel like I was being treated tremendously as a first-time buyer. Once I went to pick up the car and sign the papers, they accidentally put the wrong winter tires on my vehicle. Once realizing this happened the entire service team stopped what they were doing to quickly change my tires so I could get my car ASAP. Hope then graciously spent a lot of time going over every last detail of the car with me and gave me her phone number to text if I had any questions or concerns. Kevin also invited me to come back if I happened to forget any of the features and they would go over everything again. Having dealt with 5 of their employees who all treated me, a young female, with such respect, I feel like I am now part of the family!

Recently I got in a car accident where the driver ran a stop sign and smashed my passenger side door. I am alive and well because my mazda took the brunt of everything and protected me. Afterwards I called Riaz at Sundance mazda where I had bought the car originally and he was beyond helpful. He helped me pick out the same car that I loved along with my friends car which she also loves. He made a tragedy a lot easier and I am beyond greatful for the kindness and help I received here. My recent experience with the service department at Sundance Mazda was absolutely amazing and humbling. I had just moved here from Saskatchewan and had an out of province inspection done on my 2009 Mazda 6 at another facility near my house. This particular place tried to tell me there were multiple things wrong with my car and the cost to fix it would be thousands of dollars. They threatened that if I didn’t get the work done that I would never pass inspection in Alberta. Immediately I called Sundance Mazda. It was then that I spoke to an amazing lady named Connie who treated me like family from the very beginning. Right away she said something didn’t seem right and that I should bring it in to get a second opinion. She had me booked in for the next day and completely took care of me. As a result my car only needed minimal work to pass inspection and in the end she saved me thousands of dollars. Coming from small town Saskatchewan it is so refreshing to have found a place that prides themselves on honesty and customer service. I highly recommend Connie and the staff at Sundance Mazda to anyone needing to service or purchase their vehicles. I also want to thank Luis for driving me home, your kindness and generosity was very much appreciated! I am forever grateful and will be returning for many years to come! Just had one of the best experiences purchasing a vehicle I have ever had. Being 54 years old, I have gone through this a few times. I usually love the new car feeling but dread the process to get there. Everything was easy and the staff took every opportunity to compliment my wife and myself so it is now my turn to return the favour. Test drive was a breeze. No qualifying process to pass....just hop in and let's take a spin. Then came Sasan...he was so eager to make us a deal but what sold me was not the great deal, and believe me I think I got one, it was the way he truly wanted to make a friend and in turn a client for life. I only wish all sales,teams could recognize the importance of this. Next came the dreaded finance guys. Sorry not with Brad or Jerry. They have some great products to show you but no pressure. Very smooth stress free experience..Next was Hope showing every feature and making sure I was comfortable before driving off in my new CX5.

After all was done I almost feel like it is my turn to invite them all over for dinner instead of my usual feeling of relief that it is all over. Visit them...you will be glad you did.

I have been to many dealerships in town and have never felt so completely looked after from start to finish as I did when I stepped into the Sundance Mazda. I was able to get an awesome car with a warranty that will last until 200k! They threw in a set of winter tires on rims and gave me a great monthly payment. I literally could not have asked for anything better. They were available for my questions and didnt waste my time or push me to buy something I didn't want/need. The prices were all perfectly resonable and the selection was great. I test drove 3 cars before I decided and the salespeople were very patient. I am so happy with my car, my warranty and the lasting relationship that I have developed with those people ( Everett, Hope, Kevin, Brad, and Jenn). When my warranty is up and I wanna change out, I will be returning.

Everett was not pushy and didn’t force anything on me (which was a breath of fresh air). He was genuinely interested in what sort of things I was looking for in a vehicle, and showed me ones that fit the description I gave him. He explained how things worked including the car, the bill of sale, and the available packages from start to finish. Jen, who was in the finance side of things was wonderful as well. She was very good at explaining everything in a way that I could understand it, and was very patient and kind throughout the whole process. As a first time dealership buyer, I was very happy with my experience at Sundance. Thank you Sundance Mazda for my "New" used Ford Escape. The great experience started Sunday when I met Hoang the salesman. Right from the start it was a comfortable setting with a real warm family owned feeling at the dealership. All of their staff were really nice to speak with and to deal with. I left with the confidence that I had purchased a quality used suv. The extensive paper work showing the servicing that had been done to the suv assured me that I was making the right choice. I would recommend Sundance Mazda to anyone looking to get honest great service purchasing their next vehicle new or used.

I bought a Mazda cx5 2018 AWD and I really like it. sadly they don't include any of those freebies like weather mats, remote starter, etc. my friend bought same as mine but he got everything. honestly, I feel unsatisfied. anyway thanks, Mazda sundance for the great car.

I originally liked sundance mazda. They seemed friendly and no-nonsense. I took my mazda to this dealer two weeks ago for an electrical issue and everything seemed good. They fixed my vehicle in a timely manner and gave it a wash. They then tried to tell me that my brakes needed to be replaced "as they looked quite worn", despite the fact that I had actually replaced them within the last two months at another shop. I didn't think anything of it at the time though.

I took my car there again on Monday this week because I had noticed a couple of small coolant drops on my driveway. They had the car in their shop for 3 hours, after which I received a call informing me that the head gasket had apparently cracked, and that the engine and cooling system was "completely ruined". They said it would cost "over $10,000 to repair the engine" (a claim which is completely ludicrous), but that they could replace it for $6600. They said it emptied the entire reservoir of coolant over the shop floor when they turned it on. I thought it was incredibly strange to hear such an assessment considering that the car was running perfectly otherwise, but paid them for the diagnostic time anyway. I then took the car across town to another mechanic who after 2 days of testing informed me that absolutely nothing was wrong with my cars engine or cooling system. No indications of a gasket leak could be identified, and no further coolant leaks had been seen. All of their testing indicated that the car was running completely normal.

I returned to sundance mazda to inform them of this and request a refund as their story clearly didn't add up, and the service manager said he would look into it.

The next morning I received a phone call from my mechanic to check up on the car, and also to inform me that he was contacted by sundance to verify what testing they did. My mechanic does the exact same testing that mazda does. My mechanic still maintained that nothing was wrong and that the coolant reservoir was just over filled which explains the drips in my driveway. Ironically, the coolant had been topped up by sundance two weeks prior when I had it there for the electrical repair.

Later that day I received a phone call from the service manager at sundance where he informed me that they stand behind their assessment, and that a refund was not possible. He proceeded to tell me about the huge mess that the coolant made in their shop, and how "every time they put more coolant in, the car just spit it out again" - indicating a large gasket leak. I asked how it was possible that the other mechanics shop had the car for two days of assessment and were not able to replicate this problem nor see any sign of a damaged gasket. The service manager said that he had contacted the other mechanic and claimed that the other mechanic had "agreed with him that there was definitely a gasket problem", which I knew to be a lie. I immediately called him on it, and he tried to end the conversation. He said that he didn't think there was anything that he could do that would make me happy, and that we should "just end the call here". I responded that he could either refund me, or I could bring the car into his shop where he could demonstrate in my presence the gasket leak and reservoir purge that he claimed was happening (bear in mind that by this point, I had driven the car several times, and knew that this was not going to happen). I said that I would be more than happy for him to prove me wrong, otherwise, he should refund my money. He said he would look into booking me in "next week sometime" and then promptly hung up on me.

I received another call an hour later from sundance where they had apparently "given it some thought", and decided to refund my money rather than book my car in to prove a problem exists.

They lied to me about the service that my vehicle required. They lied to me about the options available, and the costs of said options. They lied to me about the testing that they said they did. They lied to me about the conversations they had with my mechanic. The service manager deflected every one of my questions, and only ever gave me answers that seemed intentionally deceitful. I will never go back to this dealer as the person in charge of their service department clearly cannot be trusted.

He proceeded to tell me about the huge mess that the coolant made in their shop, and how "every time they put more coolant in, the car just spit it out again" - indicating a large gasket leak. I asked how it was possible that the other mechanics shop had the car for two days of assessment and were not able to replicate this problem nor see any sign of a damaged gasket. The service manager said that he had contacted the other mechanic and claimed that the other mechanic had "agreed with him that there was definitely a gasket problem", which I knew to be a lie. I immediately called him on it, and he tried to end the conversation. He said that he didn't think there was anything that he could do that would make me happy, and that we should "just end the call here". I responded that he could either refund me, or I could bring the car into his shop where he could demonstrate in my presence the gasket leak and reservoir purge that he claimed was happening (bear in mind that by this point, I had driven the car several times, and knew that this was not going to happen). I said that I would be more than happy for him to prove me wrong, otherwise, he should refund my money. He said he would look into booking me in "next week sometime" and then promptly hung up on me.

I received another call an hour later from sundance where they had apparently "given it some thought", and decided to refund my money rather than book my car in to prove a problem exists.

They lied to me about the service that my vehicle required. They lied to me about the options available, and the costs of said options. They lied to me about the testing that they said they did. They lied to me about the conversations they had with my mechanic. The service manager deflected every one of my questions, and only ever gave me answers that seemed intentionally deceitful. I will never go back to this dealer as the person in charge of their service department clearly cannot be trusted.

The 2017 Mazda CX-5 is manufactured and assembled in Japan. With that in mind, I had a strong interest in checking out the 2017 CX-5 as a gift for the Mrs. despite having 2 other compact SUVs to see.



I strolled into Sundance Mazda with the intent of just checking things out after reading fantastic reviews of the 2017 CX-5. Brenton was the guy that helped me through the entire process. Mind you, I had already had my heart set on the CX-5, but dealing with Brenton solidified that choice and made the entire process all the more easy and smooth. I felt like I was dealing with a guy I’ve known for years!



He wasn’t pushy at all, in fact, he was quite practical on his suggestions. After advising him on the safety, accessories and other features I would like to see on the vehicle we narrowed it down to a trim and color that I thought the wife would like and went for a spin!

When I came back the third time unfortunately Riaz was away but I was put in good hands with Everett who handled my interrogating father very well and brought in Kevin when we wanted a really good number. I had just moved here from Saskatchewan and had an out of province inspection done on my 2009 Mazda 6 at another facility near my house. Just had one of the best experiences purchasing a vehicle I have ever had. Being 54 years old, I have gone through this a few times. I usually love the new car feeling but dread the process to get there. Everything was easy and the staff took every opportunity to compliment my wife and myself so it is now my turn to return the favour. Test drive was a breeze. No qualifying process to pass....just hop in and let's take a spin. Then came Sasan...he was so eager to make us a deal but what sold me was not the great deal, and believe me I think I got one, it was the way he truly wanted to make a friend and in turn a client for life. I only wish all sales,teams could recognize the importance of this. Next came the dreaded finance guys. Sorry not with Brad or Jerry. They have some great products to show you but no pressure. I was able to get an awesome car with a warranty that will last until 200k! They threw in a set of winter tires on rims and gave me a great monthly payment. I literally could not have asked for anything better. They were available for my questions and didnt waste my time or push me to buy something I didn't want/need. The prices were all perfectly resonable and the selection was great. I test drove 3 cars before I decided and the salespeople were very patient. I bought a Mazda cx5 2018 AWD and I really like it. sadly they don't include any of those freebies like weather mats, remote starter, etc. my friend bought same as mine but he got everything. honestly, I feel unsatisfied. anyway thanks, Mazda sundance for the great car.

I originally liked sundance mazda. They seemed friendly and no-nonsense. I took my mazda to this dealer two weeks ago for an electrical issue and everything seemed good. They fixed my vehicle in a timely manner and gave it a wash. They then tried to tell me that my brakes needed to be replaced "as they looked quite worn", despite the fact that I had actually replaced them within the last two months at another shop. I didn't think anything of it at the time though.

I took my car there again on Monday this week because I had noticed a couple of small coolant drops on my driveway. They had the car in their shop for 3 hours, after which I received a call informing me that the head gasket had apparently cracked, and that the engine and cooling system was "completely ruined". They said it would cost "over $10,000 to repair the engine" (a claim which is completely ludicrous), but that they could replace it for $6600. They said it emptied the entire reservoir of coolant over the shop floor when they turned it on. I thought it was incredibly strange to hear such an assessment considering that the car was running perfectly otherwise, but paid them for the diagnostic time anyway. I then took the car across town to another mechanic who after 2 days of testing informed me that absolutely nothing was wrong with my cars engine or cooling system. Ironically, the coolant had been topped up by sundance two weeks prior when I had it there for the electrical repair.

Later that day I received a phone call from the service manager at sundance where he informed me that they stand behind their assessment, and that a refund was not possible. He proceeded to tell me about the huge mess that the coolant made in their shop, and how "every time they put more coolant in, the car just spit it out again" - indicating a large gasket leak. I asked how it was possible that the other mechanics shop had the car for two days of assessment and were not able to replicate this problem nor see any sign of a damaged gasket. The service manager said that he had contacted the other mechanic and claimed that the other mechanic had "agreed with him that there was definitely a gasket problem", which I knew to be a lie. I immediately called him on it, and he tried to end the conversation. He said that he didn't think there was anything that he could do that would make me happy, and that we should "just end the call here". I responded that he could either refund me, or I could bring the car into his shop where he could demonstrate in my presence the gasket leak and reservoir purge that he claimed was happening (bear in mind that by this point, I had driven the car several times, and knew that this was not going to happen). I said that I would be more than happy for him to prove me wrong, otherwise, he should refund my money. He said he would look into booking me in "next week sometime" and then promptly hung up on me.

I received another call an hour later from sundance where they had apparently "given it some thought", and decided to refund my money rather than book my car in to prove a problem exists.

They lied to me about the service that my vehicle required. They lied to me about the options available, and the costs of said options. They lied to me about the testing that they said they did. They lied to me about the conversations they had with my mechanic. The service manager deflected every one of my questions, and only ever gave me answers that seemed intentionally deceitful. I will never go back to this dealer as the person in charge of their service department clearly cannot be trusted.

Two weeks ago, I purchased my first vehicle, a new Mazda 3 Sport from Sundance Mazda. When I first visited this dealership, I was immediately helped by Riaz. He spent lots of time showing me the exact model of the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. He explained the different features, and answered all of the questions I had. He then drove me to see another one of these vehicles in their compound that was a different colour.

I had done quite a bit of research on the price of this vehicle from Mazda Canada and other sources. The negotiation process was quick, and I left happy with the price I was able to negotiate. Maya (Finance Manager) was also very helpful. When I picked up the vehicle, Riaz spent a substantial amount time showing me different vehicle features and said to contact him anytime (including by text) if I had any questions. I was very impressed with the service I received from Riaz and Sundance Mazda. Riaz has won many sales awards, and after having purchased a vehicle from him, I understand why. The 2017 Mazda CX-5 is manufactured and assembled in Japan. With that in mind, I had a strong interest in checking out the 2017 CX-5 as a gift for the Mrs. despite having 2 other compact SUVs to see.



I strolled into Sundance Mazda with the intent of just checking things out after reading fantastic reviews of the 2017 CX-5. Brenton was the guy that helped me through the entire process. Mind you, I had already had my heart set on the CX-5, but dealing with Brenton solidified that choice and made the entire process all the more easy and smooth. I felt like I was dealing with a guy I’ve known for years!



He wasn’t pushy at all, in fact, he was quite practical on his suggestions. After advising him on the safety, accessories and other features I would like to see on the vehicle we narrowed it down to a trim and color that I thought the wife would like and went for a spin!



The great experience at Sundance Mazda did not stop there. Dealing with Brad @ finance was one of the most stress-free experience I’ve had from buying anything let alone a car. He worked on my behalf and gotten me excellent numbers!

Sundance Mazda truly is a family run business. My journey started with Riaz, who took the time to drive the CX-5 with me and was truly the reason I came back to Mazda for a third time! When I came back the third time unfortunately Riaz was away but I was put in good hands with Everett who handled my interrogating father very well and brought in Kevin when we wanted a really good number. When I finally decided I wanted the car Hope assisted Everett in making my experience move seamlessly. Brad in finance made me feel at ease and explicitly showed me every last detail of the finances and made me feel like I was being treated tremendously as a first-time buyer. Once I went to pick up the car and sign the papers, they accidentally put the wrong winter tires on my vehicle. Once realizing this happened the entire service team stopped what they were doing to quickly change my tires so I could get my car ASAP. Hope then graciously spent a lot of time going over every last detail of the car with me and gave me her phone number to text if I had any questions or concerns. Kevin also invited me to come back if I happened to forget any of the features and they would go over everything again. Having dealt with 5 of their employees who all treated me, a young female, with such respect, I feel like I am now part of the family!

Recently I got in a car accident where the driver ran a stop sign and smashed my passenger side door. I am alive and well because my mazda took the brunt of everything and protected me. Afterwards I called Riaz at Sundance mazda where I had bought the car originally and he was beyond helpful. My recent experience with the service department at Sundance Mazda was absolutely amazing and humbling. I had just moved here from Saskatchewan and had an out of province inspection done on my 2009 Mazda 6 at another facility near my house. This particular place tried to tell me there were multiple things wrong with my car and the cost to fix it would be thousands of dollars. They threatened that if I didn’t get the work done that I would never pass inspection in Alberta. Immediately I called Sundance Mazda. It was then that I spoke to an amazing lady named Connie who treated me like family from the very beginning. Right away she said something didn’t seem right and that I should bring it in to get a second opinion. She had me booked in for the next day and completely took care of me. As a result my car only needed minimal work to pass inspection and in the end she saved me thousands of dollars. Coming from small town Saskatchewan it is so refreshing to have found a place that prides themselves on honesty and customer service. Just had one of the best experiences purchasing a vehicle I have ever had. Being 54 years old, I have gone through this a few times. I usually love the new car feeling but dread the process to get there. Everything was easy and the staff took every opportunity to compliment my wife and myself so it is now my turn to return the favour. Test drive was a breeze. No qualifying process to pass....just hop in and let's take a spin. Then came Sasan...he was so eager to make us a deal but what sold me was not the great deal, and believe me I think I got one, it was the way he truly wanted to make a friend and in turn a client for life. I only wish all sales,teams could recognize the importance of this. Next came the dreaded finance guys. Sorry not with Brad or Jerry. They have some great products to show you but no pressure. Very smooth stress free experience..Next was Hope showing every feature and making sure I was comfortable before driving off in my new CX5.

After all was done I almost feel like it is my turn to invite them all over for dinner instead of my usual feeling of relief that it is all over. Visit them...you will be glad you did.

I have been to many dealerships in town and have never felt so completely looked after from start to finish as I did when I stepped into the Sundance Mazda. I was able to get an awesome car with a warranty that will last until 200k! They threw in a set of winter tires on rims and gave me a great monthly payment. I literally could not have asked for anything better. They were available for my questions and didnt waste my time or push me to buy something I didn't want/need. The prices were all perfectly resonable and the selection was great. I test drove 3 cars before I decided and the salespeople were very patient. I am so happy with my car, my warranty and the lasting relationship that I have developed with those people ( Everett, Hope, Kevin, Brad, and Jenn). When my warranty is up and I wanna change out, I will be returning.

I came in the other day to find myself a car, as my other one had broken down on me. I met up with Everett, who was not your typical salesman in the best way possible. Everett was not pushy and didn’t force anything on me (which was a breath of fresh air). He was genuinely interested in what sort of things I was looking for in a vehicle, and showed me ones that fit the description I gave him. He explained how things worked including the car, the bill of sale, and the available packages from start to finish. Jen, who was in the finance side of things was wonderful as well. She was very good at explaining everything in a way that I could understand it, and was very patient and kind throughout the whole process. Thank you Sundance Mazda for my "New" used Ford Escape. The great experience started Sunday when I met Hoang the salesman. Right from the start it was a comfortable setting with a real warm family owned feeling at the dealership. All of their staff were really nice to speak with and to deal with. I bought a Mazda cx5 2018 AWD and I really like it. sadly they don't include any of those freebies like weather mats, remote starter, etc. my friend bought same as mine but he got everything. honestly, I feel unsatisfied. anyway thanks, Mazda sundance for the great car.

I originally liked sundance mazda. They seemed friendly and no-nonsense. I took my mazda to this dealer two weeks ago for an electrical issue and everything seemed good. They fixed my vehicle in a timely manner and gave it a wash. They then tried to tell me that my brakes needed to be replaced "as they looked quite worn", despite the fact that I had actually replaced them within the last two months at another shop. I didn't think anything of it at the time though.

I took my car there again on Monday this week because I had noticed a couple of small coolant drops on my driveway. They had the car in their shop for 3 hours, after which I received a call informing me that the head gasket had apparently cracked, and that the engine and cooling system was "completely ruined". They said it would cost "over $10,000 to repair the engine" (a claim which is completely ludicrous), but that they could replace it for $6600. They said it emptied the entire reservoir of coolant over the shop floor when they turned it on. I thought it was incredibly strange to hear such an assessment considering that the car was running perfectly otherwise, but paid them for the diagnostic time anyway. I then took the car across town to another mechanic who after 2 days of testing informed me that absolutely nothing was wrong with my cars engine or cooling system. No indications of a gasket leak could be identified, and no further coolant leaks had been seen. All of their testing indicated that the car was running completely normal.

I returned to sundance mazda to inform them of this and request a refund as their story clearly didn't add up, and the service manager said he would look into it.
