Great local store, with a warm community feel. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive with other stores in the city such as blush lane or community. I appreciate the fact that everything they decide to carry on their shelves has been well thought out and they understand the importance GMO labeling. This place actually stands for something.

Best produce in the city without question.
It may look small, but it's got a great selection of just about anything you need. Prices are comparable and sometimes better than other natural foods stores. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, you can tell it's more than just a job for a lot of them.

Hands down, Sunnyside Natural Market is the BEST place to get quality, ethically sourced products at a fair price. If you want to support big box stores that claim to be better in value such as a community natural foods or blush lane, do your own research and remember those "deals" are not always what they seem. Each and every time I shop at Sunnyside Market the staff is incredibly friendly, above and beyond helpful, and genuinely take the time to get to know you. Thanks for the great service, it is truly appreciated.

My spouse and I have stopped going to Sunnyside for similar reasons.

We have become fed up with the treatment they give us (basically ignore you as they continue a conversation between them selves or any more favorite customer behind you in the queue!

Once when I got to the cash the girl running it ACTUALLY TOLD ME TO BE QUIET AS SHE WAS ON THE PHONE WITH HER 'COUSIN'!

Could not believe it. Absolutely repulsed to shop there ever again.

Community is much better IMO.

Extremely rude service constantly. My spouse and have gone to Sunnyside for over 3 years. Not anymore however. Recently their prices have gone up without reason in comparison to other organic stores in Calgary. You will find everything you need and more at Community Natural foods or Planet Organic.

My wife and I have been blatantly disrespected on multiple occasions by their entitled cashiers. Absolutely disgusting behavior to good and honest customers who are polite to them.

Keep an eye on out when they scan your items as literally we have caught them more than 30-50 times charging us full price when an item is 10% 15% or sometimes 50% off.

And if you really want to be treated like dirt go and by something from Sidewalk citizen which shares the store as Sunnyside Market.

Dear management, do your cashiers and muffin/pizza boxers not understand that THEY are there to SERVE the CUSTOMER. They are on the lowest end of the pay scale. Please get this concept through your employees heads as they are costing you more money with their attitude then you probably realize. Dear servers (servers is used loosley here) either fake a smile here and there or seriously upgrade your education and skills.

Never shall we ever again support such low grade service and disrespectful envy. A robot can and will hopefully one day do all of your jobs.

I look forward using my education to design them myself.

We were able to find mostly all natural or organic products we were looking for. We felt the products were expensive though.

A good store overall, but steer clear of their bread that they have near checkout. The sourdough loaf I last bought has managed to seriously injure my jaw even though I bought it fresh and ate it quickly. I've never been in this much pain from eating bread.

Very cozy store, right next to the LRT. There is a in house bakery and prepared foods with seats indoors for you to enjoy a bite to eat. This location is expensive so just a friendly heads up so you don't have sticker shock. Place to lock your bike up right outside the store.

Love this place for the wholesome foods. A bit pricey but worth it.
