Take the Fork in the Road to Medicine Hat as Canada’s “sunniest city” sizzles during its premier culinary event, The Sunshine Skillet Food Festival.

Chefs and chowhounds are invited to head to the Canadian Badlands to experience this event that will be held at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Cypress Centre 'Fieldhouse' and will offer guests a number of culinary experiences to tempt the palate:

See…Watch amateur cooks and professional chefs battle it out during the Sunshine Skillet culinary competition. They will require skill, speed and ingenuity to wow a judging panel with their creative plates, while working with limited equipment, basic pantry items and a mystery basket of food that will be revealed at the beginning of each competitive leg. The competition will be fierce, with exciting top prizes awarded.

Taste…Experience. . . . in addition to perusing the farmers market that will run concurrently to the competition, exciting plans are in the works for two evening culinary experiences.
