Our creative learning center is now accepting kids from 0 months to 6 years old. Montessori daycare, Music, Spanish and art classes, outdoor playground.

We make learning fun and our caring, knowledgeable child development professionals value each child as a unique individual and provide an early education experience proven to set the stage for a bright future.

Infant Care
12 weeks – 18 months
In our Infant Care program, your bundle of joy is immersed in a nurturing environment and rich sensory stimuli designed to help him /her grow into a curious, active learner. Each infant has a primary caregiver who engages the child in play and exploration experiences to support the rapid developmental journey that occurs in that all-important first year of life. Primary care giving by our child development professionals also provides for continuity of care and helps your little one feel safe and secure.
Toddler Care
Ages 19 month-36 month
Toddlers are inquisitive and on-the-go and our Toddler program is designed to build on your tyke’s natural tendency to learn through hands-on discovery, and to develop social skills through fun interactions. Our experienced teachers take great care to foster independence and self-confidence and to create a safe, organized setting geared for toddler exploration, exercise and expansion of interests.
As well, we have an adaptive curriculum that provides varied choices of learning opportunities and allows toddlers to grow and learn at their own pace and in their own unique way.
Preschool
Ages 3-4 years
Our Preschool program takes a well-rounded approach to helping your child refine and enhance skills and knowledge acquired as a toddler. Our preschool room is set up by design to support purposeful play, promote positive peer interaction, and spark investigation and imagination. The environment is also one of intentional teaching, where all activities have a well-thought-out purpose and unexpected teaching moments are recognized and acted on. What’s more, the program is also infused with enrichment activities such as music, games and storytelling.
Pre-Kindergarten
Ages 4-5 years
The Pre-Kindergarten program at Sun Valley Kids Academy is focused on giving your child a running start in kindergarten and building foundational skills for future learning. Our Pre-K students get to participate in diverse activities that introduce core pre-academic areas like science, math, art, letters, words, health and social and emotional development—all within a framework of student-centered learning. This child-centered approach honors different learning styles and nourishes creative thinking, problem solving and decision-making.
Kindergarten
Ages 5-6 years
Preparing your child to be successful in school is a top priority of our centre’s academically-rich Kindergarten program. Our comprehensive curriculum provides variety and is presented in a learner-centered manner that gets and keeps kids engaged. There is focus on using the building blocks of math and reading while learning the basics of writing and enhancing language skills. We also help students learn how to work together, and our curriculum is aligned with local and provincial standards so that your child can confidently and seamlessly transition to first grade.
Before and After School
Ages 6-12 years
Our Before and After School programs are a great option for busy parents who need a safe, enriching haven for their kids outside of school hours and during school breaks and summer vacations. We offer lots of opportunities for children to stay active and productive. Our program has a balance of social and academic components. And our supportive environment nurtures children as they make new friends, seek new challenges, and discover their potential.

This is an incredible day care. My son has been going to sun valley kids academy for just over a year and I am so grateful for the exceptional staff, especially Mary and Dania, though each and everyone of the staff members have been fantastic, including management (Jane). The staff are patient, playful and incredibly kind and caring individuals. He also learns so much from their programs they teach. As a parent it's always hard to leave your child so there's nothing better than knowing you are leaving your child in amazing hands. Also despite our family moving across the city we decided to keep our son here because of the exceptional care that he gets.
I also appreciate the size of this facility, the various rooms for the different age groups, and the staff to child ratio. It's perfect.
A HUGE Thank you for all that you do and for giving my son exceptional care.
My daughter gets excellent care at Sun Valley--the staff are kind, loving and engaging and the management are responsive and respectful. I would unreservedly recommend Sun Valley to any parent looking for high quality daycare for their children.

I registered my daughter here at 10 months and she started in May of 2017. I was assured she would get to nap in a crib and would get two naps a day, which was also stated in the handbook for children her age. I provided bedding like I was supposed to and assumed other kids did the same. I noticed her progressively getting more and more overtired and saw from the daily report that she was only taking one short nap while she was there. I asked if she could take another nap in the morning but was told she wouldn't sleep because it was too noisy during music time. I frequently noticed other children asleep on her sheets, but never saw her sleeping on them which I thought was strange. I also was very disappointed to find that she had not been properly cleaned after having her diaper changed and would need to bathe her as soon as she got home on more than one occasion.
I came a little early one day to pick her up only to find her asleep, buckled in a chair. Not only did she look uncomfortable, but this is not safe and definitely not an approved sleeping arrangement and I am surprised they are licensed. The handbook said children her age would have a crib to sleep on, and then be provided with a cot. I often saw other children asleep in the chairs as well, but had been assured she had a crib to sleep in. I could deal with everything else that had gone wrong up to this point, but I was not okay with seeing her hunched over in a chair while she tried to nap. I pulled her out that day. I don't recommend Sun Valley Kids Academy to anyone.
