Super Valu Foods

One of the best kept and maintained grocery stores in the area. Clean with super friendly staff and a fresh and nice selection of goods. It is obviously not the biggest grocery store, but it definitely has everything a small-town grocery store needs. Their weekend sale is a great time to stock up on all the essentials you need.

Huge bottles of water for my cooler. I would buy a much smaller cooler and bottle size if there was one.

Good clean store. Small selection of fresh meats its kept small so you always get fresh food and you can often watch the meat cutters work. Sales are usually good prices but it's a small store so there are a few items that sell out each week. Other items can be a bit pricey but unless your going to the city for a big haul it's still better on the budget. Super friendly staff and manager willing to order in specialty items if you need them.

Great selection of veggies, meats, etc. They also have an in-house bakery which is nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I often see hand-picked seasonal products on the special shelves which adds a nice personal touch.

If is only one moldy thing there I go to high River for everything ... because I get afraid of all the food.... written Tuesday...next day it's nice lol. 😊

Reasonable selection of groceries, staff are very helpful and friendly. It's open late most days which is really handy and saves trips out of town.

Moldy produce ( all berries had fur) and expensive stock (same item, same brand $3.20 more than High River)...It's worth the trip to High River or Okotoks, rather than shopping here.

ever since the new owner took over last summer the store has been really great. they are always bringin new stuff in and their fruits and veggies are fresh. its convenient because now i dont have to drive all the way out to okotoks.

Although some items are a little pricey compared to the grocery stores in the City, I can't say enough how wonderfully convenient it is to have a full service grocery store in our little town.... they even have a well stocked asian food section! Bulgogi sauce in Nanton - Go Figure!
