Here's a handy sheet for starting to get you back.

Day 2 - Another amazing day focusing on shot accuracy, stick handling and scrimmages. Our partners @ Elevate Movement Therapies and Performance came in to teach the kids proper pre and post game nutrition. The kids even made their own energy balls.
The instructor will sleep well after today's session😴😴

User

Day number 1 of Summer Camp complete. The kids did amazing and were exhausted by the end of the day. Day 2 they are working on individual skills and fine tuning their stick work, along with Elevate talking about the importance of nutrition and stretching and definitely some fun minute to win it games thrown in to mix things up.

This league is the best ever, they make you feel like your part of a family. I have 4 boys who have played in a few sessions and they absolutely love it.

I had a complaint and it was dealt with right away,no questions asked.

I just can’t believe how awesome all the staff and parents are

User

This is an excellent league to be apart of. I coach and my son has now played for three years. The effort put in by the superleaues group is nothing short of amazing. They are supportive to both the players and coaches and try their best to keep the teams competitive and fair for all.

User

This is a great program. Family oriented and none aggressive ball hockey that teaches positive team work.

User

Our family has been involved in Superleagues for 6+ years and 18 seasons. Both my son and daughter play and absolutely love it. We would highly recommend this league to anyone.

User

My son had been playing for years with Super leagues. This year a group of his friends put in a team in the U17 competitive league. They had to work hard to compete with the older kids, but had fun doing it. They lost some games, but in the end won with team work.

User

My experience with Superleagues has been OUTSTANDING!!! I've also been giving the opportunity to volunteer and help with the "back office" stuff that isn't always easy to do, but needs to be done. I think the way they do things is as fair as they can be. I also believe that if everyone had an opportunity to do this work and see what actually goes into it all, there would be a greater understanding and appreciation. I think it's 100% the parents responsibility to read all the fine print and advise the people in charge of their child's disability/needs and ask the questions around how/if they accommodate the disability/needs of your child before signing up. There is NO DOUBT in my mind that Superleagues would do all they could to accommodate such disabilities/needs, if they are made aware of them. We also need to keep in mind that these are HUMAN BEINGS that run the show, not robots, human's make mistakes. Let's be kind to one another, respect one another, allow understanding, learn and move forward. Superleagues is an AMAZING league that I'm very proud to be apart of and have my son apart of as well. Thank you to all of those that make it possible... YOU ROCK!!!

User

League has become a second home to me. I run a team, play on another and coach the youths. I have seen some of the processes that go into making decisions and can say that none of them are made without debate and scrutiny. I see some 1 star reviews from parents which is unfortunate. It's tough that your child got moved to rebalance teams but I promise that Superleagues made that decision for the betterment of the entire league. While it may inconvenience your child slightly, it is necessary to improve the experience of 100s of others. Not saying you don't have the right to voice your opinion, I actually think that's a good thing. But there are always good intentions behind the decisions that are made and I think it's important everyone knows that.

Anyway, thanks to Superleagues staff and owners for building such a great league and building the ball hockey community in Calgary.

User

I understand the reasoning behind the changes. Its about making the teams fair so they are balanced. They tell you that right from the start that they rebalance the teams after the first few games. The kids learn more when they can actually get a chance to play the ball. You dont feel great when you lose a game 10 - 0 . Its all about making the taems equal. Some parents dont care they just want their kid on the winning team. Keep up the good work Superleagues. Dont let a few selfish parents get you down.

User

I think people need to be appreciative of what this league does. Rebalancing the teams means they actually care about the league. Would it be better if they did nothing? Think of it as a learning opportunity for your children. In life they may be moved classes, or schools. Later in life when working they may be forced to move desks, departments, offices, perhaps even cities. Mom and dad won't be able to bail them out then. Explain to them why it is happening, and teach them to deal with it. This should be a learning and growing opportunity, not an opportunity to stomp our feet and be angry.

Keep doing what you're doing Superleagues, I only wish a league like this existed when I was a kid, I would have absolutely loved it!

User

I have been playing since I was 21 now 38 so I am guessing I love it since I run 2 teams and been playing for 17 years superleagues is life its one thing we all look forward too in the week

Superleagues you rock we love you keep up the great work ..

Thanks for all you do for us....

User

I have been playing for countless years now this is a great league for the young and the old. I can tell they have been working hard to grow the game through the youth programs they have. Good work SL thanks for letting me feel young at heart again playing the game I love!

I have see a lot of comments about kids being moved and as an officially in the youth program I see this as a positive move. I have seen far to many blow outs in the past and this can't be fun for the kids on the losing team. The youth program should be used to grow the kids as a player and as a person. Change isn't always a bad thing it's how we as parents deliver the message to the kids that will be the most important part. If we see it as a negative they will too. It's far better for the kids to play competitive games rather then blow teams out of the water that teaches them nothing. I'm glad to see SL it's evening the playing feel and sorry to see that it has been taken as a negative by the players and the parents. How do you think the parents and kids feel like on the teams being blown out. I helped a goalie last season as he felt dejected playing on a team that lost most games by double digits... this poor kids body language was so sad to see as he was a great goalie but playing on a team that lack a bit of skill.

As parents we need to look at the bigger picture it's about playing and having fun by all!

User

Having played since 2001, I'm proud to be a part of the league and look forward to many more years ahead. Without question, a great organization to join and have made (and continue to make) great friendships along the way.

User

Great recreational activity for our boys! Keeps them very active but it doesn't run our lives. It teaches them team work, respect and we all have made some good friends as a result of this whole experience. And Jenn is amazing!! We love it and highly recommend Superleagues to anyone.

User

Great alternative for kids and adults to play a game at a fraction of the cost of ice hockey, also allows kids to learn a different more controlled and slower style game, and yes every league has issues but this league seems to try and respond to concerns as soon as possible, it is still young under new management and there will be growing pains however I am confident they will provide the best environment for everyone to have as much fun as possible

User

Ball Hockey is a HUGE part of my life and thanks to it I have met lifelong friends that i now call family, and i still have years more ahead. I look forward to every second.

User

Helped me win some great championships with some great people, and have some wonderful memories that will last a long time.

User

We have a very unhappy boy! Very disappointed that you guys would change teams after the season has started and after the children got to know their coaches and the other kids on their team. Shame on you. Nothing like not giving the kids a choice!

User

To take players off their start up team is ridiculous especially mid season. To miss a practice with their 'new' team & the first time with their 'new' team is s game!! Someone should have thought the placement of players be done before the start of the season. The players that were moved - their points earned haven't even moved with the players.

User

My boys have played with them for years now. This will be the last season they play with the league , I will never sign them up again !!! So disappointing

Having played since 2001, I'm proud to be a part of the league and look forward to many more years ahead. Without question, a great organization to join and have made (and continue to make) great friendships along the way.

Great recreational activity for our boys! Keeps them very active but it doesn't run our lives. It teaches them team work, respect and we all have made some good friends as a result of this whole experience. And Jenn is amazing!! We love it and highly recommend Superleagues to anyone.

Helped me win some great championships with some great people, and have some wonderful memories that will last a long time.

We have a very unhappy boy! Very disappointed that you guys would change teams after the season has started and after the children got to know their coaches and the other kids on their team. Shame on you. Nothing like not giving the kids a choice!

To take players off their start up team is ridiculous especially mid season. To miss a practice with their 'new' team & the first time with their 'new' team is s game!! Someone should have thought the placement of players be done before the start of the season. The players that were moved - their points earned haven't even moved with the players.

My boys have played with them for years now. This will be the last season they play with the league , I will never sign them up again !!! So disappointing
