Supported Start Birth Services offers physical and emotional support throughout the end of your pregnancy and full support through your labor and birth.
Supported Start Birth Services Description
My name is Chelsea and I am a trained DONA birth doula working towards my certification. I have always had a strong passion towards pregnancy and childbirth, and have chosen to use my passion to help empower women to feel confident in the end stages of their pregnancy, all the way into their labor and delivery.
I will offer an initial meet and greet with potential clients to ensure we are a good fit! If so, two additional prenatal meetings will be set (usually around 38 weeks) to go over questions and your birth plan. I will be available by telephone or email 24 /7 after 38 weeks for additional support. From the moment you and your partner need me during the labor I will be there all the way to 1-2 hours postpartum. Finally, a postpartum meet will be arranged usually around 2 weeks after baby is born where I will give you a copy of your birth story, help assist with breastfeeding, and to help with any other postpartum issues you may be experiencing.

Birth is something we never forget as women. It becomes our biggest achievement in life that’s why it’s so important to have good memories and not traumatic ones. Even if your birth plan doesn’t go as intended, you were cared for and supported. You were important in that moment. You were loved. You were in control. You were given information and ultimately you made the decisions that worked best for you and your baby in that moment. It’s all about YOU.
Getting all my documents ready for certification and stumbled upon this! Throwback to my first birth in 2016!!
I am so excited to get the privledge to attend another birth any day now. Watching a woman become a mother and a man become a father for the first time ever is such an incredible moment! Super excited for the soon to be mom and dad!
