Providing all ages the opportunity to experience Outdoor Education, Spiritual Encounters and Personal Discovery in a positive environment.

Surprise Lake Camp has been an outdoor escape, since 1951. Started by Reverend James Norquay, his wife Marg and a handful of dedicated families, the camping practices have changed very little over the past 60 years. we still offer quality outdoor living, environmental and spiritual education, as well as friendships and adventures of a lifetime.

The camp has gone through many changes over the years and the facility, though showing it's age, still delivers the opportunity for peaceful retreat, meaningful recreation and fun in a semi-wilderness setting.
With help from our volunteers, grants, donors and alumni, the camp continues to run year after year, and reached its 66th anniversary in 2017.
