Here at Sweet Cakes, we focus, not just on creating fabulous and memorable custom cakes, but also on the foundation of making great cakes, that is, fresh and quality ingredients. Highly reccomend Sweet Cakes
We had to get a really special cake for our daughter's second birthday and our search for the best landed us with Verna.I called quite a lot of custom cake companies in Calgary. Either they were unable to make the cake exactly like the way we wanted or some were charging way too much. When I called up Verna and gave her the requirements for the cake, little did I know that it will be one of best cakes we ever had. When the cake was delivered to us on the day of the birthday, we were mind blown looking at how beautiful it looked in reality compared to the picture we gave her. It was the center of attraction for my daughter's birthday. Everyone in the party enjoyed it and we relish the taste still. I will definitely recommend her cakes to anyone looking for the best. I cant thank you enough Verna..we will see you next year
We had sweet cakes by Vernz create a cake for my sons first birthday! She did and amazing job everyone at the party was shocked at how amazing the cake looked on top of that the taste was even better! I would recommend her to everyone on such short notice she made a beautiful cake and the most affordable in the city!!!
Vernz made our wedding cake. It was a dark chocolate cake with coconut icing. It was the best cake I've ever had, and my husband and guests loved it too! So moist, rich, light, fresh, and affordable! Thank you Vernz. We look forward to reordering this cake for our anniversary! �

Verna made a beautiful birthday cake on short notice and it even tasted delicious! She is also very fairly priced compared to other companies. I would recommend her for any event.
This is a long over due review. We ordered a harry potter themed cake for my cousins bridal shower and vernz did an incredible job!! The cake turned out better than we expected and everyone loved how it tasted. Thank you Vernz for accommodating us so last minute and creating the perfect cake for us! My cousin loved vernz cake so much that she ordered her wedding cake from there as well!
My wedding cake was absolutely amazing! The colour was perfect, buttercream delicious, red velvet so yummy. All my wedding guests were raving about how good the cake was. It was delivered the day of my wedding on time and she set it up on my cake stand and even put on my cake topper.I highly recommend Sweet Cakes by Vernz!

I was surprised with a MANGO SANS-RIVAL cake for my graduation and I have to say - it was the best cake I have ever had! I love it so much, and you better believe I'll be thinking about how delicious it is in my sleep! �

I am so fortunate I trusted Vernz with my special birthday cake. I had a vision/colour/design and I left the rest up to her. She created the most amazingly, beautiful cake I have ever had. I felt like a Princess and loved the matching cupcakes. I guess I was even more surprised at how fresh and delicious tasting all components of my cake were. My guests and I thought it was too beautiful to eat, but after we tasted it, we ate it all. So impressed. It was the talk of my party. Can't wait until my next cake. Delivery was great also. Highly recommend Sweet Cakes.
Blown away by how great this cake was! So talented and so delicious! We had great customer service the whole time, the cake looked exactly how I wanted it, and honestly it was just so so good! It was a big hit at the party, I would recommend Sweet Cakes to anyone, and will absolutely be using them again!
