Sweet Pea'S Cafe Play

Sweet Pea’s Play Café is a work in progress. We created this page to let people know about us and help tell us what they would like to see at Sweet Pea's.

Sweet Pea’s Play Cafe is a start-up business that will be owned and operated in Airdrie. It is an adult supervised play latte that offers an indoor playground for children age 0-6 in clear view of their parent or guardian while the adult enjoy the café. There will also be a drop off service to allow parents to temporarily leave their child in the play center. There will be small play structures appropriate for babies and tots as well as a section for children with disabilities. I think it is important to serve both those with and without disabilities equally. If children grow up knowing that disabilities are normal there will be a decrease in social stigma; additionally, children with disabilities playing with children without disabilities will build confidence and realize their worth in society. The café will offer hot and cold beverages as well as healthy snacks. The facility is designed to entertain, exercise and stimulate every child while reinforcing good social skills in a group play environment.
