Why use handmade soap? you might ask yourself. It’s more expensive and not as convenient to buy as heading to the drug store. The next time you’re there, though, have a look at the labels on the ‘soap’ you buy. You might notice that your favorite brand doesn’t call itself soap at all; it might say ‘beauty bar’ or ‘moisturizing bar’ but most of them can’t legally put the word soap on their packaging. Why? It’s because it isn’t soap, it’s detergent. Sounds harsh and it is on your skin. That’s why your skin feels dry and tight after using it. Glycerin is a natural and precious by-product of making soap and most companies remove the glycerin to use in other high priced products like face creams that they want to sell you. I don't.

My handmade soap is made from all natural ingredients that you can pronounce. You probably have a few of them in your kitchen right now. I only use quality, sustainably sourced oils and butters that are rich in anti-oxidants, vitamins and nutrients. The only scents you’ll find are from pure essential oils; no chemical laden fragrance oils. Everything I put into a soap recipe is guaranteed good for your skin.
