‘Tis the season for baked goods, candies and all the sugary goodness one can imagine. While I don’t have to tell you that having loads of sugar is not gods for you, they can benefit you if you plan correctly. Having sugar before or after a workout is the best time to have these snacks as the insulin response from the sugar can help deliver nutrients to muscles needed for recovery.
