The end to a perfect weekend

🐾 No distance is too far for love when you wake up knowing this day would be the day 💞. That is exactly how Berwyn felt when he decided to make the trek from Three Hills to Calgary and finally to us yesterday. 😸 Dryden could not be more comfortable in his new daddy's arms and we believe that Berwyn and Dryden are the purrfect match, don't you? Congratulations boys! 😻 🐾

What do you call this...Heaven! 😻

🐾 Sweet Delilah talked herself into a loving home yesterday 💞. She made her pitch to Carol and her grand daughter, and afterwards Carol decided that she would not be leaving without her! 😽 Congratulations girls, we know that you both will have lots to talk about! 🐾

Meet Cindy, our most traveled kitty by far! She was rescued by a Canadian woman working in Abu Dhabi, and she contacted us to see if we would take her. She is allergic to cats but just could not leave her there. So this little girl flew 22 hours and 7,000 miles to come see us in December of 2017! 😻
Cindy (who is also affectionately known as Abu Dhabi or Dubai 😄) is an Arabian Mau. They love to run, have no undercoat, and have larger ears to help expel heat. It took her a few ...weeks to acclimatize and hid under blankets to keep warm when she first arrived. When she is not snuggled in a box with a blanket napping, she can be seen bouncing around playing with the other fur residents and ripping around the shelter like she was in the Indy 500! 😸
She is 1 year 3 months old now (birthday August 4, 2017) spayed and is available for adoption! Her adoption fee is $225 and includes her spay, tattoo, microchip, up to date shots and 1 month free pet insurance. If you would like to meet her, stop by the shelter during regular business hours! 💞

This is Ninja. He’s visiting us for a bit. He was such a good sport the first time, then our patient volunteer Deanne put it on him one more time. He sat still longer the second time. The fun with cats is endless! 🎄🎅🎄 * No kitties were harmed during this photo shoot*😄 Volunteers have the best job!!

We have made a habit of adopting all our feline fur babies from Tails to Tell. They come to us well adjusted and well loved. Edna has taken in the unwanted and turned their lives around. Thanks Edna and your team for being the keepers and caretakers of these little souls, you are truly a life saver.

User

We got the sweetest little girl from the shelter. The staff were wonderful, Helpful and very informative. When we arrived to see if there was a kitty to join our family, it was obvious that all the cats are well loved and cared for. Would 100% recommend them to friends

This place is fantastic, and the cats are well looked after. Everybody there was very helpful and friendly, and wanted to make sure that we were the right fit for our new kitten. Fantastic place and people, if my apartment allowed another cat I would go right back to Tails to Tell! Thank you all so much :)

User

The most loving kitty shelter around. Everyone embraces these little fur babies regularly as they take care of their wants and needs. Edna does the most amazing job with her crew of volunteers. We have adopted a girl and a boy and we have 3 in total. These 3 have adapted really well as a little family. Thank you Tails to Tell.

Me and my Fiance love Tails to Tell. When our cat Mocha went missing last winter or 3 weeks we were completely heart broken but then tails to tell found her and brought her to the shelter, we were there the next morning to get her and she was all comfy surrounded by blankets and the people at the shelter were so so kind!. They do amazing work here and truly care about the well being of these cats <3. Keep up the good work!

User

I love Tails to Tell! Seeing how they screen for the right family for the animal, how knowledgeable they are and how much love those kitties have is just amazing!!! Those cats all deserve loving forever homes!!

I can't even begin to describe how loving and informed these staff members are. I felt a huge difference between the Calgary humain society and this place. The cats Co-existed in such a loving living situation. These staff know each cat and have information on them by heart. The visitors I encountered during my lengthy time there were all so happy.

The cats were all comfortable and welcoming and I judge people by the vibe of the animals. I'll be writting you again once I get my kitty in like... Twenty minutes....lol

I adopted a cat named pippa now named jynxy and we have fell in love with her. I really respect how much the genuinely care about all their animals. It is more than a job to them it's like a family and you can see it in the way they care for them. I am on day 2 with jynxy and it has been a wonderful transition and she fit right in with the family immediately. I am blessed to have found her and that tails to tell is around! Thanks Edna!

User

I adopted Scout (formerly Ryker) on Boxing Day and for only having him just under a month, I couldn't picture life without him. Edna was so helpful and really took the time to make sure I saw all the cats and picked my purrfect fit.

I adopted Keeva just before Christmas last year after losing my 16 yr old Samson. She has been a joy to watch grow and play with my other cat. When I was looking for a new cat to adopt I looked at every cat rescue organization from Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane, Red Deer and in between. After much comparison I chose Tails to tell for several reasons, first they are no kill, hate to say it but their price for what you get was the best (hard fact of life having to put a price on an animal), most of all it was Edna and her staff. The sheer love and dedication they have for what they do is amazing. I sat there one day for over 5 hours playing with the kittens and checking out all their cats/kittens. Wish I could of adopted them all lol. I wish we could reach a place where animals were no longer discarded because a pet friendly home/apt can't be found, that they've been spade/neutered so we don't have litters running around homeless. Until that day happens I wish you guys much love and many thanks for what you do.

Hi lovely folks of Tails to Tell!

My hubby and I are seriously interested in finding an adult cat to adopt in the next few weeks that is good with our friendly Sheltie and would be ok to live out in our garage to be our companion and hunter around our acreage. Would there be someone there who would fit this need we have? We will feed high quality dry and wet food, give it a warm bed and safe place to be. Thank you!!!

User

Got my cat from them 3 years ago...such kind, patient people, who take great care of the animals! Would go get another from them in a heartbeat, if I could.

User

Extremely happy with tails to tell and Edna herself! We are super happy with our new fur baby Ivy
