Taniamedispa

I went last week as a walk in for a Body treatment and a facial to Taniamedispa and it was an amazing experience. I got a body wrap for one full hour and they did a really nice hot stone massage at the end and it was so relaxing. After I got a firming facial for one hour they offer that really made my skin look so young and hydrated. This was actually the first time that I got a facial and I just loved it . I really recommend this place to everyone.

I bought a voucher at the Taboo show I personally was very pleased with not only the services but the people. I’ve gotten many massages and some places have grumpy employees not Tania’s everyone was super pleasant and just the cheery atmosphere made it enjoyable. As well I got a facial I’ve never had one before and I feel like I got what I paid for and more. My skin feels AMAZING & looks even better. Thank you everyone :)

Purchased the voucher as a gift for a friend. Even though it wasn’t what we expected from the sales person... This rating is specifically for the customer service, not the fact that we feel we got promised everything, something too good to be true for $70. I contacted the sales representative for a refund as he promised when selling the voucher, “it is fully refundable if I was not satisfied”. Unfortunately, he said he couldn’t do anything and directed me to his boss via email. I’ve since sent multiple emails and have not received any response from anyone. I feel it was 1/5 poor service on both the spa and sales person/company.

I went here last year for the voucher treatments and it was such a relaxing experience, letting Tania and her staff work their magic on me. The facials left my skin glistening, feeling soothed. I didn't mind paying additional for the calming mask - I see it more like an additional benefit to me, and overall I would highly recommend going to this place if you want a breather from your everyday worries.

I do not recommend this spa.

Like many others, I purchased a gift certificate from a marketing company. When booking, I was told $25 calming mask was required. Later when I pointed out this was not specified on the voucher, I was told it was "recommended". The calming mask was to prevent inflammation that may lead to permanent scarring. I am hesitant to use their services after learning this. I was not able to get a refund, which was understandable. However, the exchanges with management was unpleasant.

On a separate note, the gift certificate violates the Alberta Fair Trading Act, which states that a gift certificate with a specific dollar value cannot have an expiry date.

It was a good experience, staff were nice people. You will get what you paid for the Package Voucher, nothing fancy. I just hope mask price is cheaper.

This place is not great. We purchased a voucher from which we didn't realize at first was just a marketing company. Once we got there we were told we needed to buy a $25 calming mask, which would've been fair if it was mentioned in the first place but it wasn't. Never were asked of any allergies or anything. Didn't seem very hygienic either. The treatment was quick, rushed and nothing special. Not even worth going in if you bought a voucher, take the loss of money.

This place is a scam!!! Got a coupon from someone who's phone is now disconnected (we have tried to call for a refund). I finally was able to make an appt after multiple attempts to call and messages left. Showed up ten minutes early for my appt and the door was dead bolt locked!! I waited there for fifteen minutes and nobody showed up!! I have made multiple attempts to contact them and left half a dozen messages and have had no response back for rebooking or an apology. Do not go to this place I'm not sure if its even real!!

I've had two treatments. The chemical peel and the microdermabrasion with the voucher. I have never had either treatment before and I'm very happy with the results. They are very kind and knowledgeable. My skin is so soft. I would recommend getting the masks after as they help calm the face. I've had amazing customer service. They even stayed late to accommodate us. I have even purchased a gift certificate to give as a present for Christmas.
