It is with regret we must announce the cancellation of the Taste of the Heartland long table dinner and bus tour due to low ticket sales. Although we have had to cancel the Taste of the Heartland there is still an abundance of reasons to explore Stettler! The weekend of July 20th has many exciting and free events including firework, live music, 1/8th mile shoot out and a day long Tractor Pull. Over the years, Evan has developed his skills in many established Alberta restaurants including the Hardware Grill in Edmonton and The Pig and Duke in Calgary, where he was featured on The Food Networks “You Gotta Eat Here”. Evan is excited to share his passion for local ingredients and discover everything Central Alberta has to offer and it's amazing cuisine.

Brenda's Cozy Cafe The first time Brenda ever cooked a full meal for her family she was 13. It was farm raised beef, garden vegetables, and potatoes from the cellar. Although her technique is a bit more advanced than it was in her early years, Brenda's passion for locally produced food remains. Brenda is simply a farm girl from Saskatchewan who loves to cook and you can taste that passion in her restaurant Brenda's Cozy Cafe on main street Stettler. Brenda has a diploma in Food Service Administration from SIAST Kelsey Campus and her Red Seal from Lakeland College.
