Good food and kewl trendy interior with high ceilings. Great for dining prior to CPO as they are aware of getting your food out in time

Best dinning experience I've ever had. Service was outstanding, amazing ambience and great food! A tad expensive but worth it. Will definitely return.

This is officially my favorite dinner restaurant in Calgary. I loved everything about my experience the other day. Service was fantastic. Hostess was friendly and offered to store my coat and gym bag. They even provided me a stool just for my purse! Waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. Really impressive wine selection, and everything on the menu looked good making it really hard to order. I like the open concept kitchen where you can watch the chef's cook, surprisingly it wasn't too loud. The bread they serve with dinner is so good I even asked for seconds even though I never do that. Good for couples and groups

Walking into the Teatro is like being whisked into another time. The history and architecture of the Dominion bank building are complimented so well by Teatro's design elements - a stunning copper kitchen, grandiose gates at the entrance, and beautifully upholstered high backed booths, altogether creating an opulent, luscious atmosphere that feels like pure luxury.

The five course tasting menu at Teatro was an absolute dream. Each dish was a perfect cohesion of high quality ingredients, thoughtful design by the kitchen, and phenomenal excecution.

Service was impeccable. The service team worked together to ensure that every table received attentive service in a timely manner. Our servers were polite, engaging, and professional. I could not have asked for more.

Overall Teatro provided the best fine dining experience I have had, and I hope to be back!

The atmosphere is nice. Big space with tall ceilings and an easy place to have business conversations. I ordered their home made burger and it was average. Nothing special. It was quite salty and frankly over cooked. I should have ordered some other item.

Ok. The place is naturally lovely. The old bank has had a generous application of Calgary oil money.

The food and restaurant-ness is lacking. Not up to the standard of a true dining establishment.

More customers, louder milieu and giving over the kitchen leadership to a chef accustomed to a much more rigorous flavour experience.

Restaurants come and go, but Teatro remains for a reason. The express lunch menu never disappoints. Servers are professional and the food is consistently high quality.

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary while we were in Calgary, and I must say I was extremely unimpressed with the experience.

I ordered the pork belly and my husband ordered the braised duck, when my meal arrived, I was extremely disappointed to find that the pork was so tough that it was inedible. The dish was so tough, that I couldn't even cut it using the high end steak knife that was provided.

For obvious reasons I had to send the dish back and ordered the duck instead. The house was kind enough to provide me with a complimentary salad(which was sub par at best), but I was shocked by the fact that for the first time in my life, the manager did not come to our table to speak with us after the dish was sent back. I expected a much higher level of customer service from a restaurant with their reputation.

Not only that, it was also the first time in my life, that a restaurant did not offer to comp the meal after having a main course sent back. I also had the lovely experience of having to spend the remainder of my meal, with the chef giving me dirty looks from their open kitchen.

In the end the duck was delicious(though the accompanying sides were not), and our server was excellent. Though sadly I cannot give praise of any kind, to any other member of their staff.

I will never return to this restaurant, and I was frankly appalled by the shocking lack of service, and the outright disrespectful manner of their kitchen staff. Not to mention the utter incompetence of the management, for their failure to perform one of the most basic tenants of their job description.

I think perhaps they should be informed, that an impressive wine list does not a high end restaurant make.

We went to Teatro last night and had the most wonderful time. Our waitress Rochelle made the whole experience a night to remember. She was fantastic, helpful and efficient. She made excellent menu suggestions and our sommelier helped with a beautiful wine pairing. The only thing that lacked was our calamari appetizer, it needed some seasoning or citrus.
