Do you have Maligne Lake on your list of places to visit while in Jasper? With several hiking trails in the area as well as a cruise on the lake, it's a popular destination for all.

User

We had a great family birthday get together weekend and this was the perfect place to book so that we could all stay together in a cozy cabin. Beautiful scenery all around us and just a short nature walk on trails into Jasper. Hope we can all meet up here again soon!

User

This was such a wonderful place to stay. The cabin was cozy and I appreciated having a full kitchen and they supplied the firewood for the fireplace. There is a coin laundry on site, handy for those travelling with kids. I can't rate the staff highly enough. Everyone I bumped into, from housekeeping, to maintenance, to the front desk staff, was exceptional. A great place to stay if you want to be outside of, but close to town. The walk from Tekarra to the train station was about 25-30 minutes with a 4 year old. There are also tons of trails nearby. I highly recommend Tekarra lodge, especially if travelling with little ones.

User

Such a beautiful place to get away to! Quick 10 minute bike ride to Jasper. Cozy, clean, great staff and pet friendly too! Loved it and will definitely come back. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟❤️

User

Our family love staying at Tekarra Lodge . It's right on the banks of the Athabasca River & the Miette where they join together & the views are stunning ! The cabins are rustic & very clean , Dog friendly even supplying doggy dishes & a sheet to cover the furniture for your stay ! Staff are super friendly & helpful & every evening they have s'mores by the fire for everyone & sometimes interpretive talks & entertainment like a magic show for the kids Great walking for those who want to & a Resturant that serves delicious food ..... Only draw back is the prices are a little steep , but apart from that it's a fabulous place to stay & im sure our family will be back to enjoy sipping fresh coffee in early mornings in the well placed chairs on the rivers edge , one of my favorite places to stay !

User

Our cabin at Tekarra Lodge was romantic, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and office was very helpful. We were 10 minutes from all the attractions we wanted to experience. I would recommend...worth every penny.

User

I love this place. Rustic cabins in the middle of the forest, bordering the river and close to everything. Need to relax in a tranquil environment? This is it.

User

I don't know how my wife found this wonderful lodge but it was the perfect place to spend the last three days of our vacation. There were gorgeous hikes minutes away, elk walked up to the door, an excellent restaurant, and paneled common room with comfortable chairs and lots of windows. A great place to read on the one day it rained. (I needed that day after a week of hiking.) We definitely want to stay here again.

User

Have been going there for over 25 years it is perfect the staff are amazing wouldn't think of staying anywhere else Jasper is the jewel in the Rockies

User

Great place. Was treated well. The hotel staff even came into town and got us because we could not enter the address in our GPS to find the place. Good food, Slept very well, enjoyed the views of the river, and the small hike in the woods.

Gorgeous setting. The beds are amazing. 5* for 1950’s style cabins. The setting and comfort is worth checking out. Onsite restaurant is fabulous. If you wish to walk about or sit on an Adirondack chair, over looking the banks of the Athabaska river.... amazing! Fully equipped with wood burning fireplace. Central fire pit (not my thing)... provide charcoal bbqs upon request. WIFI No TV. “YES”. Rustic luxury is how I would describe this property. Close to town. Can rent a peddle bike. Did I mention the beds!? Comfort is a 10!

User

Fabulous food in a quaint Lodge, in a beautiful setting!!! Walked around the area first, down to the Lake....gorgeous!!!! The menu at the Lodge was wonderful...we shared the Baked Brie (yum)...banana chip/Panko crusted chicken (I'd get this again in a heartbeat!)...and my friend had the best Capaccio that she's ever had...and it was Elk!!! Our other 6 table friends all had fabulous meals as well!!! Delicious!!! I hope to return in a few weeks, when I'm back in Jasper fur another visit!!

Thank u...and see you again VERY soon!!!

Excellent cabins in beautiful surroundings. Food at the restaurant has been superb and the staff very friendly and helpful

Beautiul Lodge, good food, excellent staff, clean rooms, technology getaway, cute cabins and lodging rooms.... and a great setting for a wedding or a fun family/friend getaway. They had an awesome common room which worked wonderful for setting up to do hair and morning necesseties for a wedding/ photo shoot! So blessed to have celebrated a beautiful marriage here almost one year ago in August. Its a great escape and would definetly stay here again.

User

The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Our cabin is extremely clean and the best views.

Great place to stay!

User

Just got back from a beutiful weekend with the family . Great place , little treasure of Jasper.

Friendly and great customer service . View to die for!! Wow

User

Had a great stay here last week, fabulous accommodation, great location and a lovely restaurant on site. We got to meet the local grizzly and her two cubs on our last day which was both exciting and fearful!

User

We had reserved here to dine at their superb restaurant, and for the great views. Nobody told us the restaurant was closed. Cabin was ok, but fridge barely kept things cool, dish towels were missing, view of gravel parking lot from front porch. My partner had stayed several times before and was disappointed with the change in amenities and experience. With the enormous range of accommodation available in Jasper, the cost of staying here is hard to justify.

User

Canada is such a vast, spectacular country. Mile upon mile of stunning scenery and more open air than you can shake a stick at. However, space is a thing they struggle with at Takarra Lodge. Our cabin for 4 people is slightly smaller than the average garden shed. Cozy is one word to describe it, cramped and claustrophobic is a more apt description. It is so small I had to go outside to fart, as there wasn't enough room in the 'lodge' for me and my body gas. The reception staff helpfully suggested a $500 dollar upgrade or simply 'find somewhere else to stay'. Strange customer service to say the least. But on a positive note, we walked into Jasper and found half price wine! Won't be booking here again, Baker Crrek was miles better.
