Tammy Brauner, O. D. | Board Certified Optometrist
Dr. Tammy Brauner studied at the State University of New York, College of Optometry where she graduated with a Doctor of Optometry, earning honours both academically and for serving her optometric community.
Dr. Brauner has received extensive training in the areas of specialty contact lenses, binocular vision and vision therapy, pediatrics, ocular disease, and geriatrics - travelling to clinics and hospitals across the US for her training. Her special areas of interest include: contact lenses and specialty contact lenses including bifocal contacts, keratoconic lenses, post-surgical lenses, and corneal refractive contact lenses.
Dr. Brauner is a member of the Gold Key Optometric Honour Society and received the NYSOA Auxiliary Award in 2013. During her studies, Dr. Brauner was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honour Society, was named to the Dean's List every semester, and was Class President for the duration of her optometric education.

Dave Brauner, O. D. | Board Certified Optometrist
Dr. Dave Brauner studied at the State University of New York, College of Optometry where he graduated with a Doctor of Optometry.
Dr. Brauner thoroughly enjoys working with the latest in optometry technology and applying the lastest breakthroughs in research to his practice. He is extensively trained in the areas of pediatrics, vision therapy, specialty contact lens, and has worked at a Veteran's Hospital dealing heavily with ocular disease. Dr. Brauner has worked exclusively with high-end optometric diagnostic equipment as a job prior to starting his own practice, and was given the opportunity to learn the exact methods behind the production of a soft contact lens at a contact lens production faciltiy.
Dr. Brauner enjoys sharing his knowledge with his patients and demonstrating how technology can improve their quality of care.

Doctors Dave and Tammy met. . . on the first day of orientation at optometry school. No further into orientation than standing in line for ID cards did they first "eye" each other.
Optometry school became not only a medium through which a career was to be established, but it also became the grounds for a growing relationship.
Hours of studying together in the New York City Public library, hours of practicing optometry techniques on each other in the clinic floors, hours of staying up late preparing for quizzes /practical assessments /lab exams /presentations, and several caffeinated beverages later, Dave and Tammy graduated from the College of Optometry in New York together, in front of their beloved families.
Outside of optometry, Dave and Tammy enjoy floor hockey, ice hockey, soccer, frisbee, and have become quite passionate about board games. They look forward to sharing their love for eyes with their patients in a warm, friendly, and caring environment established by two "eye-school" sweethearts.
