High marks to Wade. I have sold 2 audio systems to Wade. The first was a high end system. We agreed on a price but when Wade saw the condition of it he increased the amount he paid me by 20%, saying that he would not feel good unless he paid more. I, typically, depreciate my equipment when considering the sale of equipment and so I had in mind a fair price the next time I approached Wade with equipment. I mentioned this to Wade and before I mentioned the price I had in mind he showed me the Blue Book showing the range of values for used equipment. The price I had in mind was in the middle of the range and so we quickly came to an agreement. Wade also bought all the albums and a stereo stand. My dealings with Wade have been very positive. He is a fair minded business man. Whenever I have anything to sell I will go to the Old Retro store first.

Great selection of vinyl revords and quality service on analogue equipment.

Found some super elusive vinyl for a more than reasonable price. Also found some really down to earth people who work there. Great and inviting place for the new vinyl collector, or the more refined audiophile (which I am not ;-)

Great place to shop or get gear serviced/repaired. Fixed a tweeter in one of my cornwalls and did a service/led upgrade on my 2270 for a fair price. Sucks there 2hrs away but I'm willing to drive for the excellent service and peace of mind that a qualified tech that knows what he is doing is working on my gear. Never had a bad experience staff is always friendly and helpful.

This is my first review online of anything but after reading a few negative reviews I felt I had to speak up about my experience. Quite simply one of the best customer experiences I've had. Fixed my Rega turntable for a very reasonable price. Thankyou
