The Balance Foundation

The Balance Foundation is a fundraising organization that was created in 2018 in order to support both education and youth development in the city of Calgary. It currently supports two pillars: the Brett Wiese Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University of Calgary and the development of a youth facility in the Calgary area that can house after school programming and services for current and future young athletes, particularly those who are at risk of living a life that is considered marginalized. Our goal is to shape young people using sport as a catalyst, to ensure that we develop and support them in making positive contributions to our community.
