We try to come out to work on our batting and have a couple cold ones a couple times a month. We've been with big groups for parties, we've come out with the kids. The service has never been anything but awesome. I will definitely be telling at least 100 people (�) to drop in.

Keep it up! Love supporting a business where the owners are obviously doing exactly what they want to be doing and it shows!

The batting cages is definitely the place to be, from the moment you walk in the door until the time you leave you are treated like family. Randy and his family are the perfect hosts. Clean, pleasant and resourceful atmosphere with 4 batting cages and a pitching cage, you won’t be disappointed!

The Batting Cages is a great place to hone your ball game! Unbelievable service, owners Randy and Angie are amazing and treated us like old friends from the moment we got there. I would strongly recommend that anyone looking to hit some balls and have a good time should swing down to The Batting Cages.

I can not say enough about how amazing my experience was here! We were treated like family the second we walked through the door. The customer service was through the roof and I’ll absolutely be back!

I call them just as they opened and they were accommodating for a quick half hour of batting. The owner was super polite and fun to chat with. Clear directions were given and always aware of what is happening and how your time is going while offering to get you anything you need. Even a cold one and I don't mean a glass of milk. It is slow pitch practice so you may as well have a beer or two. I even forgot my old school sapphire grad ring on a table and got an immediate call with a promise of its safe return when I make it back there.

Great place to be. Not only for fun but a good training tool. Good location, fair prices, and the ability to have a cold one between sets. Would recommend and will be back again.

Great atmosphere with super friendly staff, we will be coming here many times in the future!

Excellent location on the south side of Edmonton. Very friendly and accommodating staff. 4 pitching machines with variable speed. Baseball, fastball, and slo-pitch options. Large ball hoppers so you arent constantly loading the machine. Great place for first-timers learning, or those wanting to get ready for the upcoming spring and wanting to work on timing for fastball and baseball. Rates are very reasonable. Recommend calling ahead to reserve time slots as it can be busy.

The staff/owner exuberate professionalism while maintaining a warm, welcoming, laid back and friendly atmosphere.

Ensured that speed, height and cage were that of complete satisfaction.

Assisted when needed and was happy to do so.

Equipment; up to date, well maintained and clean.

Location; clean, tidy & modern.



Con; signage, sometimes difficult to find since it is a little bit tucked away, perhaps a sign on the north end of the building :)

Came here for a birthday with a group of 5 and had a lot of fun. I'm giving them a 5 purely based on the AMAZING customer service; The man behind the counter was bringing out our drinks, chit chatting with us and made the experience that much better.

Amazing!!!! My husband and I play on a slow pitch team in Edmonton and we had the most amazing service. The two guys there were so nice and friendly and the beer was great � we will totally be back.

Absolutely the most fantastic cages I’ve ever been to. From the booking the the service from randy was bar none. I will be absolutely bringing my teams here for batting practice forever. So much thanks to randy and his family for hosting us and keeping us happy! 10 stars if I could!!!

Never have been do disrespected by the owner who was not fair or truthful treated woman with a demeaning attitude i will never go there again and i will tell 100 people not to go either!!

I for the first time in my 15 years I JUST experienced racism. And who would have thought it would be in the middle of Edmonton from a business OWNER in 2018. Nine of us went into the batting cages and were treated with such disrespect. We were tryin to fill out the waivers. This “owner” came over and said we are costing him $10 cause it’s a 1$/waiver but only two of us filled it out. Then he yelled at my mom. And told us “we could just leave then” because we didn’t fill out this waiver correctly. Also, he didn’t even try help us with the waiver which is VERY disappointing, because all we wanted to do was have FUN. Then he walked away so we tried again because we really wanted to bat. My dad went to the desk to try pay and the owner started yelling at my dad and said “just get out we don’t need assholes here” and he said as soon as “ you guys walked in I knew you would be trouble”. The owner said this right in front of my 7 year old Brother and my 13 year old sister. Who does that?

Why did we look like trouble? Because of the colour of our skin? I FULLY believe so.

Then we had enough of this racist treatment we were walking down the stairs and the owner yelled down to us the entire way. If your skin colour NOT WHITE don’t go here you will be treated with racism, disrespect, arrogance, ignorance. It’s such a shame that a owner of a business would treat PAYING customers with this amount of Disrespect.
