We celebrated my "I won't say what number" birthday here this past Sunday. It was one of the best celebrations I've ever had! Live music from The Hawaiian Dreamers, topped with a delicious brunch (not even a word of complaint from anyone at our table of 10 discerning eaters), and fantastic service from our waitress. I had the Blueberry pancakes and tried the banana bread, which was also amazing. Very impressed, we'll definitely be back again for brunch and dinner!! Thank you, Blue Chair.

Thanks to the Manager who took care of me and talked to me as I was sitting at the bar, Dec 14 at the Blue chair cafe house band with Chloe Albert...I always get warm friendly service when I am there!!

Lovely meal and awesome live music entertainment - saw Juno Award winning blues man Morgan Davis in a very cosy atmosphere with pretty decent acoustics

Just found out about this little gem of a place. Service, food and atmosphere was fantastic! I'll definitely return. I can see many business meetings and evenings with live music in the future.

Had the Old Country Gritz last week for lunch. Great flavour; just like Mom made. The staff is super, great family and friends neighbourhood cafe for a meal and a visit. I love everything I eat there. Check out the entertainment as well.

First time here but certainly not the last! Great service, brunch was delicious and the music created a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Everything I have gotten at blue chair has been fantastic, I've only been for brunch but hoping to get there for lunch or dinner soon. Can't beat the eggs Benny and a Caesar with some relaxing music on a Sunday morning.

At the risk of exposing my neighbourhood's best kept secret- this place is amazing. I suggested Blue Chair for brunch to four friends that had never been here before and they were very impressed. From our attentive server, to the live (and not too loud) cello music to the amazing food and reasonable pricing- all of them said that would be back. If you plan on going for brunch, bring cash to put in the envelope for the musicians at the end of your meal.

Not at all what I expected! It's a great hidden gem. The food was so good and the servers were really nice. I was here for a show and I'd like to come back again to try more of the menu.

Lovely quiet little restaurant! Food was great and our server was very friendly and attentive. Loved that the music wasn't loud so we were able to talk with no problems. Also liked that they served local craft beer! Will definitely be back again!

Excellent food and entertainment! The staff was friendly. This cafe is not a fast food venue so don't go with the idea you'll be served in a few minutes. The meal is made for you not in a mass production. Only withheld the last star out of the old adage, 'there's always room for improvement, but I really don't know where that room was last night. The place was packed and it was terrific!

After a bit of a mix up with our reservation, Harold, the manager, was able to accommodate us last minute on a sold out show. We are very grateful!

The blue chair was Avery nice quaint little place. Good music and good food. You do not get what you paid for. They have very small portions and it is very over priced. I ended up getting a smoked salmon eggs Benny. It was very tiny and they gave me 3 very small potatoes with it with very thinly sliced peices of fruit. It all tasted great but did not satisfy any of my hunger at all. Might go back a d try something else but a little upset about my first time there.

Good venue for entertainment. Food is a bit pricey. The ceviche is way overpriced!

Came for breakfast-was our first time. Service was great, food was ok-eggs for bennies were too soft (had ask for hard), the hollindaise sauce was a tad too spicy (wish you had a choice of chipotle or regular). My friend had the Huevos Rancheros-a bit too much lettuce-she thought it was more like a salad than expected.

The atmosphere & music was great!

Will have to come for lunch or dinner to check out other menu option! Fun first experience-thx!
