Went with friends. Cozy place. Nice vibe. Easy parking right in front. Cold when the door opens in the winter but what can you do? Lots of whiskeys holy smokes! I was eying up the list of specials and kind of regret not ordering From it.

Second time there. Loved the service and food both times! Great serving sizes. Plan on a 2+ hr meal to fully enjoy. Amazing what they can produce in such a small kitchen. Great drink options too.
My girlfriend took me here for a birthday dinner. I had the haggis and couple drams of Balvenie and she had the lamb shank and a Malbec.
Just wow! Atmosphere was relaxed. Smart, classy, small, Scottish, intimate. The haggis was great! But the lamb was the star! It was a lamb shank.. which I’ve had many times and while ok, never a huge fan of the shank. UNTIL NOW!! Tender, moist and delicious !! Thank god my girlfriend shared !
Definitely coming back! SOON!!
My friend had talked up this place and said we should go sometime in the summer. A Networker of ours from Red Deer had come down for some training in Edmonton and so I figured this place would be good to try out. We all had something to eat and tasted a whiskey each. The service was phenomenal and so was the food. I tried Haggis for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The extensive list of whiskeys blew me away! The server knew a lot about whiskey that I didn't even know. She was very informative! Very good food and I love the atmosphere of the place. Would recommend it to anyone!
My favorite place in town. You can't beat the whiskey selection, and that's far from all they have going for them. The atmosphere is intimate, classy but still fun... The food is absolutely to die for, I don't think I've ever had a better charcuterie...
But there is lots of good food and drink in this city. What makes it my favorite? Chelsea. Aside from just being an angel to be around, she seems to effortlessly make you feel at home and among friends while providing the highest level of service.
My Hubby and myself have been going to The Bothy for some time now. We love the place. Great device and Delicious food. Eventually will have our friends come along too. Can't wait!!
Love this cosy place on a cold night, plenty of character .... had a cheese board and a descent bottle of red and it was very good, reasonably priced. Will eat next time.
Love love love this place. I have only been to the southside location. Great owners! Friendly staff. One of our favorite for a nice night out.

Great little hideaway off of Calgary Trail south! Great food friendly staff and large selection of spirits & wine! Highly recommended! Noticed 124 St location is closed!
Great dinner tonight out on the patio fantastic starter smoked salmon, and great entrees with a lovely bottle of red! Will be back for sure!
First time there. We had a large group. We took up half the place. Everyone totally enjoyed their meals. Waitress was very nice and took time to answer all our questions. Service was Dinner casual but the good part was we all had our plates at a decent rate. Worst ever is getting yours first and having to wait 10 minutes until everyone has a plate in front of them.
*** no one had guts to try Haggis
Cozy yet classy! A true gem. The food is incredible, the staff friendly and the drink selection is world class.
Amazing selection of Scotch whiskey, as well as Canadian and American, beer and wine. Good, home cooked style Scottish fare. Friendly staff. Nice, cozy atmosphere.
Amazing food and exceptional service!
Went there for my friend and my birthdays, we received a free birthday shot, food was quick and delicious, and their wine tasters are amazing!
I would definitely recommend this place for a quiet personal date night

Prices are a bit expensive but the experience is totally worth ever penny
After a disapointing start to our evening, my sisters and I decided to check out The Bothy. We were thrilled with the super friendly service and the charcuterie, brie, and dessert we tried were so delicious! We will definitely be back!
Food was great and alcohol sections were fantastic! Service was wonderful aand was able to make reservations. A little pricey but a wonderful experience.
Cool little place. Everything we tried was good. The staff were friendly, engaging and happy. Good atmosphere-could see it get quite happening if the place was at full capacity.
