The Bridal Centre

This was one of my first times renting a suit so I wasn't knowledgeable in that field but as soon as I walked in I got a friendly greeting from the receptionist. These people here are both extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they do and have a great deal of patience for a newcomer like me. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to The Bridal Center and would look no further than them for my next suit purchase.

I was apprehensive about being a bridesmaid to begin with, but the staff at the Bridal Centre were so friendly and accommodating that i felt at ease immediately. Plus, the dress quality was superb considering the bride considered ordering knock off designs online. Thank goodness she chose to work with the pros. We got some first class treatment and would highly recommend anyone that wants to look flawless for their big day to choose the Bridal Centre.

Not happy with the service provided at this store. I brought my daughter and her friend to shop for grad dresses. When greeted at the door they were somewhat rude and just pointed where dresses are. We went through the racks and got a bunch of dresses to try on. There was other girls trying on grad dresses as well and the staff were constantly helping them. I figured it was busy so they didn’t have time for us. However when the rest of the girls left, it was only my daughter and her friend left trying on dresses and not one person came to us and offered assistance. They didn’t ask what kind of dresses they were looking for, didn’t explain the ordering process and how to order a different size/color. They would approach the rooms and ask which ones were no, take the dress and walk away. We left there and went to Blissful Bride and it was a total different experience....friendly staff, they explained everything to us and within 45 minutes, we purchased two dresses. Don’t waste your time at this store. We drove to Calgary from Edmonton and were treated with disrespect and as though we were nothing.

Had a great experience here for my initial bridal appointment. The $50 "membership" for a private appointment seems a little outlandish still, (and the rules on their website for those who don't purchase are a tad aggressive), but it was worth it because I found the perfect dress and the $50 was taken off the price. The dressing rooms are really nice with good lighting, lots of mirrors and a seating area for your guests. My consultant, Brittany (sp?) was AMAZING. I told her what I wanted and she pulled the perfect dress on the second try! They seem to have a really big selection!

Returning next year for alterations to the dress I purchased and I anticipate the same level of great customer service and attention to detail.

Went here for a last minute tuxedo rental for an important event. The best thing about this store is they actually have everything in the store and the quality is outstanding. Received several compliments throughout the evening. I went to three other stores before and everything was in another province, nothing to try on or the tuxes looked old. Finally wound up here and they had me suited and out the door in 20 minutes. When I returned, they showed me some of the retail suits they carry in ultra slim fit. I purchased one for myself and my son. Amazing fit and half the price of a menswear store. Very happy with the service and the product.

We stopped in knowing to try on dresses we needed an appointment. We did not want to try on anything we wanted to literally walk through to see if there was anything I wanted to try on to see if it was worth mine and the stores time to make an appointment . the receptionist was extremely rude. Then told me that she would book me only for an hr instead of their 1.5 hr cause I just wanna look. Hell no if you want to waste my time and your stores time you'll book me for the full appointment if I'm forces to book an appointment just to walk through the store in trying stuff on.
But ok i get it so i make sure everyone comes to the appointment . and again when I show up the receptionist ...same girl wasn't friendly and kept giving us a ride look (i wasn't the only person who noticed it). I found a dress I love there but don't even wanna go back to buy it there. My experience was very cold there no-one felt comfortable especially down in reception.
Had it not been for my friends wanting me to put one a dress that had nothing i wanted and was a joke we all thought it wouldn't look good even the stylist didn't want to bring it for me to try on my friends had to ask 3 times (very last dress to try on and was a joke. Ended up being stunning on and we all loved) the whole appointment was a waste of time I could have walked through in 10min and been like nope no need to waste my time or theirs or another brides who could find her dream dress.
Also wasn't even shown where to look for a dress I was brought up and the stylist brought dresses we basically were left to only look at fessed around my change station. Noone else was there for over half the appointment and the appointment was late we waited an extra 10 min of sitting around waiting for our stylist
Would not recommend coming here if you like friendly service or to look at the dresses you might wanna try on

I brought my dress home this weekend for my wedding next week, my final experience here was just like the first- wonderful! Throughout the whole team have been professional, friendly and listened to me, resulting in my perfect dress. Cecilia was my consultant and was an absolute pleasure to work with, she really knows her stuff and was never frustrated by my procrastination. She listened to me and pulled all the pieces together. I highly recommend her. The seamstress has made my dress fit like a glove in all the right places! Thank you all!

I purchased my beautiful wedding dress here and had the best experience. I had an appointment with Angelina in May and she helped me choose the perfect dress for my July wedding. She picked out some great contenders until we finally found my dress. Angelina listened to everything I wanted and I felt like she knew exactly what she was doing.

After selecting my dress, I came back with my seven year old daughter a few weeks before my wedding and had the dress fitted to be altered. The girl who fitted me was so amazing with my daughter and made her feel like she was an important part of the process. Tonight I came for my final fitting and the fit was amazing, they had also just steamed my dress. All the staff here really go above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience so I felt compelled to write this review. I would highly recommend The Bridal Center!

Probably a good place for women to get their dress but horrible for men. They don't tend to care at all for male customers.
They take your measurements but then tell you the day you pick your stuff up, everything is one size fits all. Nothing is fitted for men and they will not make adjustments on sight. All of us guys had to pin our shirts so we didn't look like slobs.

Not to mention, all of bow ties were they same when they were meant to be all different colours.

Men get your suits somewhere else! Don't waste your time.

This is literally my very first review online but I felt compelled to review the Bridal Centre and all the staff I had the pleasure to deal with. I was looking for a suit rental for my wedding and went to many places in Calgary and none could compete with the Bridal Centre. The selection of suits/tuxedo's available and the very friendly and patient staff made it actually enjoyable to find my suit. I went back three separate occasions because I could not make up my mind and the staff treated me the same each time. Thanks a lot for a great fitting suit which made my wife extremely happy for the pictures. :D

This place is so awesome! the staff are just wonderful and helpful. I would recommend this store to anyone, And the alterations ladies do an amazing job on altering your gown! I am so grateful I came here to shop for my wedding gown, bridesmaids dresses and Tuxedo rentals. If you are getting married this is the place to come!

Honestly had a really great experience !!! I was helped by Savannah in finding a grad dress, fairly last minute I might add as my grad is in two months. She was so kind and personable, we went around 4:30 on a Wednesday and my mum and I were the only ones shopping for grad dresses. This was the first store I visited and I bought my dress that same day (no alterations needed !!). I came in with a VERY specific idea in mind and no wish to change, after throwing a slight temper tantrum at the fact that they didn't have the one I wanted, Savannah helped me to find the PERFECT dress, listened to what I wanted implicitly, and honestly helped me see that the dress we ended up picking out was sooo much nicer than the idea I came in with once I saw it up close. Really sorry to hear about all the awful bridal experiences but from my personal experience of grad dress shopping it was fantastic thank you so so much Savannah !!!!

Terrible store, terrible business people. I am incredible disappointed in their business practice. If you find a designer you like go to one of the wonderful stores in and around town, but stay far away from this one. They certainly do not care about their customers at all. Do not make any business with these people. I only give one star because I can not give 0.

I purchased my dress from the Bridal Centre and in the end had to purchase another dress because they butchered my first dress in alterations.

To start this bridal store is very very dated with red carpeting and is in major need of a renovation. Aside from that after selecting a dress and being measured my consultant told me I should be ordering a dress 1 size down. At the time I didn't know any better so I went with what the consultant told me.

When my dress came in of course it was too small but I was told that if I slimmed down just a little it would be a perfect fit! I'm not sure how much more I could have "slimmed" down.

I ended up needing to have the dress taken out and their alterations team completely butchered the dress. After 4 alteration appointments the dress never fit correctly. AND they put a small tear in the bottom lace that I was told would be fixed and it never was.

I got terrible customer service the entire time and ended up paying full price for a ripped dress.

I took the dress to an alterations specialist named Magdalena who now owns European Couture Studio and she was able to fix the dress for me. She now works also with Pearl and Dot and is a life saver! My second wedding dress I ended up buying was from ETTE which is now closed but Magdalena worked there at the time and she was a dream to work with!

Skip the bridal centre it's a joke! Go to Pearl and Dot instead and talk to Magdalena or get a dress made by European Couture Studio.
