What is Beers & Cameras? The meet-ups are attended by photographers, videographers and creatives looking to build a stronger local community where networking and teaming is encouraged. Beers And Cameras will meet at top local breweries and restaurants with a strong indie-beer list. They occur in the evenings and jump from one location to the next essentially fitting in a photo walk in-between locations.
During these events, posting to your personal social media accounts is encouraged. The venues visited will often repost the photos uploaded and will receive a link from B&C with photos from those who want to share them.

The Camera Store is more than just a great store with very knowledgeable staff. It is a Calgary icon and a part of our community. Their Youtube channel is world famous and Chris Niccolls is a class act. Keep up the great work at TCS!

So lucky to have such a great store in Calgary. Not just the selection, prices and staff but the efforts that they put into interacting with the community and encouraging all photographers both pro and amateurs alike.

Selecting my first 'real' camera was a tad bit intimidating, however Stefan was most helpful. I'm excited to get to know my new Sony A6000 and love that The Camera Store offers an introductory workshop when you purchase a new camera -- so fantastic!

Love the Camera Store. Prices are competitive on most things, but the best thing about the camera store is the staff. Any question that IŌĆÖve had trouble with, just ask and they magically have a solution. You can read shit on the internet all day, or have a 5 minute conversation. Fantastic!

It is the best camera store, with the best staff. They know their stuff and have fun sharing it all with with you.

I personally thought it was a great experience buying a new camera from here. The employees knew a lot and they were comfortable. And they are fair with each other. For example one employee helped me one week and when I went to buy the camera the next week she wasn't there but they still added her to the transaction so the store knows she helped me.

I like very much the camera reviews on TCSTV not only because of the fun with Chris and Jordan but because they are very detailed, descriptive and have a lot of explanations which can make your direction much easier through the many choices out there!

Alex, one of the employees, let me be sure that I could fit the seamless paper roll in my car prior to purchase - she even helped me fit the paper in! She went above an beyond to make sure that I can an excellent experience at the store. Thanks Alex!

Best place in Calgary for camera gear. Locally owned with awesome staff... Always willing to help. I've been shopping there for 14 years and have yet to experience a store with the service and dedication that TCS provides.

Original plan was buy a new set of camera to take pictures for my new born baby, purchased a new body and lenses at March 29th, knowing that they do not have the lenses in stock, has to be ordered from manufacturers or distributor. Salesman promised me 1 to 2 weeks, lenses did not show up, phoned them told me 4-5 weeks, no show again, phoned again, 2-3months, lol, IŌĆÖm not too sure whatŌĆÖs going on there, custom made a brand new Porsche only take about 2-3 month... anyway, my babyŌĆÖs due date is May 10th, right now all I have for him is iPhone camera.

Btw, only reason for 2 stars instead of 1, because they do price match, if you going to shop at this place, please do some research, their price is higher than others, like Downtown camera.
