About The Cast Program
The CAST Program (Collaborative Artists' Summer Training) is a division of the Youth Singers of Calgary. Musical theatre focus - ages 15-24.
The Cast Program Description
The CAST Program offers a unique training format with a staff of dynamic individuals who are experienced in both teaching and performing (scroll down for bios). Each year we chose a musical to use as a vehicle for training in the three disciplines of musical theatre; our focus is process over product but still demand an excellent product. The program runs for six weeks from the end of June to the beginning of August . It is structured so that participants can have a summer job working days and some evenings while still getting the benefit of a study program.
