Went with the family after a long drive from Montana, excellent service and the food is so satisfying. Would definitely be coming back.

We were blown away how everything from the service, appetizer & dessert were perfect. The steak was seasoned & cooked to perfection! Fabulous meal - highly recommend!

We had an incredible visit. The service was excellent, our food came promptly and was delicious. My steak was seasoned perfectly and cooked just the way I like it. The portion size was quite generous, I was just sorry it disappeared so quickly! The ambiance was soft and comfortable, perfect for our anniversary dinner. I look forward to returning soon.

This was our first visit to the Cattle Baron. We were very glad we went. The service was great and the food was wonderful! Best steak I've had in a while. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will return.

This was my first experience eating Steak. We went to the NE location. The waitress was amazing and so helpful when helping me select which kind of steak to order. All orders were served to us quickly. Everything was delicious! For the first time ever, I ate every single item on my plate! We will definitely be going back!

Quite Simply put- An Amazing meal put together and served by Amazing People! I’ve been a loyal customer going on 4yrs, it’s my go-to place when I’m in Calgary- I simply just won’t eat anywhere else! Diane and her crew are true professionals, I highly recommend the Baron!

My husband, myself and 2 of our children dined on Family day weekend. Our service was top notch - Thank you Brittany ❣ Our food was delicious, the best we have had away from home. Our youngest son is autistic and totally felt at ease with the ambiance, very warm and inviting. We will be back again.

Me & my family went to the north side location. The food was beyond tastey the service was excellent. We loved it soooo much we are most definitely going back! Thank you guys we loved it we traveled a long ways to calgary after driving forever then having to look for a motel... When we arrived at the cattle baron we were so tired & hungary but you guys made it so worth it. love you guys & even more so the food much love from southern alberta we will definitely be back!!

I cannot remember the last time I was able to cut a 14oz Prime Rib with a butter knife. It wasn't til I was almost finished that I noticed our waiter Mo gave me a steak knife.

Speaking of Mo, what a polished and attentive waiter!! Thank you!

I recommend this low key, very reasonably priced steak house to anyone in the area. My only personal dislike was the twice baked potato; it somehow tasted sweet to me.

After trying to find somewhere 'new' to try for date night, we decided on Cattle Baron. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. We decided to sit in the lounge which was very comfortable, clean and most importantly, not cramped. Our server, Tracy, who we found out is brand new to the job and our province, was absolutely fabulous! She was friendly, very knowledgeable about everything on the menu, helpful and super efficient. The food and drinks were phenomenal. We wouldn't have changed a single thing and will definitely be back. Fantastic job Cattle Baron, we love date nights like this.

50/50 on this one. First time there ordered ribs, came to the table with the inside still cold. They did send out a new order this time hot. Also, what is with their twice baked potatoe? Comes to the table looking like it was rolled in sand and has a hint of Tex mex seasoning to it?

Went there with my best friend and the food and drinks were amazing but the service there wasn't great at all! We had this one lady basically gave us a hard time told us we can sit anywhere so we did and then we were asked to move so we did and our waitress gave us a bit of a hard time wouldn't say sorry for that and got upset because the manager said she would take our drinks off and we said we would pay together she got mad at us snatched things off the table and wasn't friendly at all! I wouldn't recommend any of my friends to go back there at all!!!

The Cattle Barlon used to be one of the must visit steakhouses. I think its day has passed and I don't plan on returning or continuing to recommend.

Service was alright, but did not seem fitting with the pricing. Great for a truck stop but not for fine dining.

Some of the food seems to be trying to find a new spin, and for me missed the mark. Most concerning they seem to have missed all the basics on the steaks. Not great cuts, not well cooked.

Service was exceptional, thanks Tracy. Food was meh for hubby, lamb ordered med rare was served blue. My tendymeds with peppercorn sauce was ok except for the not tender parts lol. Great ambiance but chefs need to figure out how to cook to order. at $36.00 for the dish...won't be back

Have been going to the cattle baron now 12 years the north location food has always been great service has always been amazing tonight's experience was terrible out to dinner with my gf when they start us of with drinks and the nice hot bread and the whipped butter it's always a treat but tonight we found a big ball of hair in the butter so our waitress took it back to the kitchen so the manager came out said sorry about that so that was ok so we carried on with our order I ordered the 14 Oz rib eye medium rare when I took the first couple bites it was so cold the steak was completely raw not cooked at all so again the waitress brought this back to the kitchen and had a new steak prepared for me by the time I got my new steak my gf was finished hers so we didn't get to eat our meals together which sucked so once again manager that's on tonigjt comes out says sorry that's 2 for 2 on mistakes tonight which are uncalled for and should not happen so when everything was all said and done he comped a free $8.00 dessert on a $150.00 meal not good service at all any other steak house I've been too would always comp the meals for the bad mess up on there behalf not impressed with the service tonight expecially for a place that me and so friends been going to for so many years now.
