The Cedar Shop Building Materials

As owner of A Laptop Shoppe, i purchase mt cedar products from this cedar speciality shop. Friendly staff , great prices.

Excellent staff at the sales desk. They went above and beyond for me when I was short one board of custom order Trex decking. (my bad I didn't measure properly) They managed to get it to me the next day!

The quality of wood was disappointing. 33% of my order was crowned or split. Also 1 star for lack and quality of customer service.

Found a better place by Calaway Park, Mountain View Building Supplies. Less expensive and hands down better customer service.

The Cedar shop has a better selection quality products in sizes that you do not find in the big box stores. 20 foot 2*6 cedar decking straight as it can be, I could not find anywhere else. Delivery was on time and placed where I wanted. Never had a problem with service but you do have to go up to the order desk. If you just look around you do not get bothered by a salesperson.

I have been here multiple times and even have an account here. They have never been overly friendly, but my fiance went in to pick up something up and she was completely ignored by the person behind the counter. I recommend shopping elseware.

Helpful and knowledgeable stuff. BIG variety. Good quality lamber are them!
