The Cellar Wine Store

Very rude and unhelpful staff on duty at the time we were there. Unfortunate too because another store actually sent us here because they thought Cellar could better meet our needs. We went back to the other store and bought $160 of product from there and suggested they not recommend Cellar anymore.

Had the same experience as another poster, they don't want to help you unless you're dressed like you have money. Good thing, because that'll just save you some money on this over priced dressed up liquor store. Unlike the other reviewer, we didn't even get a goodbye after spending almost 30 minutes looking at scotch and wine trying to find my father a present. Won't be returning.

Most of the beer in the cooler was expired, good thing it's not marketed as a beer store.

A true wine cellar, with a professional knowledgeable staff. Always willing to go out of their way for you. A great wine shopping experience.

This past week we stopped in for a couple bottles of wine for our hotel room. With the exception of one other couple in the store it was not busy. We had just gotten in from driving from SW Ontario and yes we were dressed very casual in lulu lemon pants and flip flops. My husband was not shaved and wearing his ball cap. We clearly were judged by the way we looked and it was obvious. Not one person offered to help us. Little did they know we have a wine cellar at home and are avid collectors. We love to talk wine but clearly we didn't fit the mould of their typical customer. We were in the store for about 20 mins and not one person spoke to us. I even said a few times to my husband is anybody going to help us? Finally we said forget it and we went somewhere else. As we were leaving the girl said goodbye. Clearly; they want people who dress to impress while shopping. Rule number in sales never judge a book by its cover.

Great wine selection and passionate, knowledgeable staff. These guys did a great job hosting a tasting event and I highly recommend everyone check them out! A total hidden gem in Calgary.

I like the store for the staff. They can find you a wine based on the detailed description of its taste. Wonderful!
