There's nothing quite like the sensation felt when you get up and find that three of your gpigs have decided to self-appoint themselves as free-range overnight. Oh, my poor furniture!!! And an unscheduled rodeo at 6 am. 🤣

I have a camera/alarm system set up so that I can monitor the guinea pigs when I’m out of the building. It makes me laugh every time I get an alert that there’s a carbon monoxide detector going off - because I’m standing right here, feeding the gpigs, and the system hears their wheeking and thinks it’s an alarm! 😂
