The Drain Doctor

I only give them 2 stars because they worked fast. We called them through our management company to unclog our kitchen drain. They did not set up a fix appointment time and called 15 minutes before coming in. I left my office when they called. it took them 10 minutes to do the work and they charged me about $250 ($50 for waiting time). It's absolutely ridiculous to charge for the waiting time if you don't have a fix appointment time. Plus, I called them to check their general quote pricing and they do $200 for up to an hour and a half of work including the travelling time. Unless the guy was travelling from Airdrie in rush hour, there is no way this job took over an hour and a half including the so called waiting time.

Horrible experience and they have caused more damages and problems. Wouldn't recommend letting them in your house.

Our kitchen sink was plugged and I tried everything I could think of to unblock it for days but nothing worked. Finally called the The Drain Doctor and they were able to come out the next day. Joey had to use the bigger machine to auger the pipe out approximately 50ft from the sink to break through the clog. He was very professional and even cleaned up the kitchen floor where I had made a mess during my attempts to fix the problem. Very impressed with this company and especially Joey for the work he performed and Erin for keeping me informed when he was slightly behind schedule. Would highly recommend “The Drain Doctor”.

No one likes dealing with plumbing issues in the winter but they happen, I have used Drain Doctor a few times now, for both business and home use and every time they leave me the happiest person in the world! Kevin was wonderful, he did not diddle daddle, he made sure the roots were good and out and was super polite!!!!!! I will always continue to use Drain Doctor services and will be calling them for all my future business as well!

I just wanted to give these guys a quick shout out as they really impressed me. I scheduled them for the next available 8 am spot as they made it clear that they couldn't guarantee being on time for any later appointment as they never know how difficult the previous client's situation might be. Completely understandable, so since I am in a tight time frame, I needed to wait a couple days for an early morning spot. Not gonna lie, our sink was pretty dirty. My roommate and I were scared about filling it with water and making it harder for the plumber to fix, so we left it. It was all finished while I was away, and when I came back, the guy actually cleaned our sink AND our counter for us. Definitely did not have to do that, but he did. That extra mile was appreciated, no matter how simple the task was. Thank you!
