We always stay here when we come to Canmore! Great service, great people, great food! The Uncorked menu is a must have if you get the chance! It is amazing! And the breakfast on the weekends is a great way to start your day! Canmore Uncorked on till April 12th!

I host monthly paint parties at the Drake, and LOVE the hospitality they provide. Ian, "Dingo", and all the staff are amazing. So accommodating and encouraging of my events. I truly appreciate the opportunity to work with a great venue and great people. (Pssst... if you haven't tried a paint party yet, you don't know how much fun you're missing!) AND.... they have great beers on tap :)

BEST bar EVER!!!! We love this place...upstairs, or down, it rocks. The house band is always great, dance floor is fun, food is good, but Christian and Dingo are the most awesome bartenders anywhere. These boys HUSTLE. Even when its PACKED (and it was PACKED on Saturday) everyone gets served efficiently. Great to see you guys...will see you again soon! And Jeff, bounce extraordinaire...nice to meet you this trip.

Shred Kelly was one of the great show I have seen at The Drake since Lisa Leblanc. I Hope to see other awesome musician like these guys on the main stage soon!!!

My friend and I stayed at this Drake Inn a few nights ago (Oct 2017). Although it wasn't fancy on the outside, it was perfectly comfortable and clean on the inside. Very adequate and it had an amazing low price for any accommodation in Canmore. The receptionist Brenda was a lovely person and very helpful when I was booking. The big bonus for us was stepping out the door and finding the Policeman's Creek Trail right there. We went on a magical walk in cool fresh air and late light of day. Fabulous!

Also, directly across the bridge was the main part of downtown. How can you beat this?

Just had a Kokanee Gold and a fish & chip.

It was perfect.�

Except the fruits flies!

Just ate here tonight with my boyfriend. It was recommended to us from the front desk at our hotel. I was super pleased with the food. We definitely left full. I would certainly eat here again

Two of us stopped in for a late lunch after a day kayaking and had a seasonal salad and spinach and artichoke dip. The salad was super yummy, but the dip seemed to be lacking a creaminess. It was very tart. The server was friendly and although it seemed pretty quiet on the patio it still seemed to take longer than it should have. Not bad, but not the best either.

We stayed at the motel for 3 nights, and tried the pub as well. When booking, they fail to mention that you'll be kept awake til 2AM from the incredibly loud music from the pub, then having drunk patrons knocking at your door into the wee hours. The room itself was very run down, stained, with chips and flakes coming from the tub and sink. It was reasonably clean at least. No AC. The pub food was okay, but the abundant fruit flies were not a welcome addition to our dinner. The location is excellent, but I'd rather walk a little farther and get some sleep!

I was looking forward to lunch and a beer after a hike, it has been a long time since I have been to the Drake sadly I think this will be my last time. If it were not for our server who was friendly I would have only given 1 star. The food took forever and was ok at best, the bathrooms were very unappealing (dirty)and it was tired and musty smelling in the main public house- hard to eat or enjoy lunch here :( I feel bad leaving this but was really disappointed.

Waited an hour for food, when it did come out it was not very good.

Warning: They advertise a combination appetizer dish where you can choose any three items on the starter menu for only $25. Sounds good, right? Well when the entree showed up it was three miniscule items on a regular serving plate, basically $15 worth of food at most. What a ripoff.

We gave the waitress a hard time but in retrospect the blame should be on the kitchen and whoever in management think's it's OK to charge so much for so little. We won't be going back, and I would advise others to keep clear

Will never recommend Drake to our friends in Canmore or anyone in Calgary.
