Grande Prairie Storm

The second event between 16 players from the Grande Prairie Golf & Country Club and The Dunes Golf & Winter Club took place at the Grande Prairie Golf & Country Club. The ladies had less than ideal playing conditions and mutually decided to end play at hole 15 for all groups on the course. Teams played a better ball format with each hole won for their team adding one point. At the end of the evening The Dunes: 33 and GPGCC: 45. Both teams are now all square going into the match play singles event on Sunday, August 19 at The Dunes Golf & Winter Club. Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club Ladies Club

Wonderful experience. We took our company out for an end of season golf trip and had an amazing time. The greens are beautiful and well maintained, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the prices are fair and affordable.



Can not recommend the Dunes enough. I definitely recommend a trip to the Dunes for any golf enthusiast in Grande Prairie and the neighbouring communities. We’ll be back again!

We were married at the Dunes on August 13th of this year. The Dunes is a breathtaking venue with a gorgeous outdoor ceremony area and lovely reception area. Andrea and the staff at The Dunes took excellent care of us on our wedding day. We felt that Andrea and her staff went above and beyond their duties to make our day special. They were incredibly well organized and accommodating. Our guests were raving about the beautiful ceremony area and the classy, yet laid back reception area. Our guests loved being able to move freely between the reception area and the patio/smoking area. The food was amazing and most of our guests went back for seconds- we had many compliments that it was some of the best wedding food they have had!

We had such a beautiful day and it was truly the best day of our lives. Thank you Andrea and staff- The Dunes is a wedding venue we would highly recommend.

The Dunes was absolutely amazing for our wedding last weekend (July 31, 2016). Andrea, the events manager, is so helpful, full of ideas and recommendations, and made the day special. She helped us make the day special, even though the weather decided to rain, and I hit my stress limit, and Andrea swept in and made plan B maybe even better than plan A. Everyone was saying how wonderful the food was (Definitely recommend the mashed potatoes!) and we loved the freedom of being able to decorate the night before (which took off lots of stress), and hooking up the speakers to play our own music.

I couldn't have imagined a venue more perfect, or a staff more amazing. Thank you <3

Such a beautiful and challenging course that perfectly fits a low and high handicap golfers. I always love to play the Seniors Open Tournament here ...bottom line is reasonable price, fun and meet new and good golfers.

Played in the Seniors at the Dunes. Was a great day. Won gift cards and a beer cooler and 24 beer. On a hot day and great friends to play with, a fabulous meal---Priceless!!!

Our facility has two beautiful rooms to choose for either your Wedding, Banquet, Anniversary, Family Reunion, Christmas Parties, Meetings. Our food is the best in Grande Prairie. If you are interested in booking please call me at 7805384321...thank you
