VERY detailed and full of history. The museum layout is a tad odd and haphazard, but it was still a good stop. They did not have the musical ride when we were there so that kind of took away from the museum a little bit, but I still enjoyed it. If you are short on time it is skippable but if you want to learn more about the history of western Canada's colonization then this is great stop. Kids will be bored to death but history buffs will think it's cool.

If you enjoy historical locations you will appreciate The Fort Museum, the musical ride is definitely worth the visit on its own.

Fun visit although not the most exciting exhibits. The horses and goats were pretty fun. Learned a little history.

Must see musical ride. Lots of history and very nice diorama of Buffalo head smash in....

An excellent place for kids to spend several hours while on holidays. Be sure to feed the goat!

The fort is a great glimpse of the past and the horse riding musical ride they put on is excellent

Really liked the informational style of story telling. The story of Deerfoot running to Calgary with speed that boggles the mind. The scaled down version of the Musical Ride was fascinating.
