This weekend, I met the owner, his girlfriend and a number of neighbors that I haven't had the chance to meet yet. Thank you Trevor for creating such a fun, welcoming environment.

I was reading the previous reviews and was shocked to realize that none of users who left negative reviews had even been to The Garage YYC! Odd, given that if they (and their friends) would step out of behind their computers and simply have a conversation with ANY of the neighbors, they may think differently.

Odd to think that some of those who fight daily to be accepted by the community (rainbows and unisex bathrooms) are so quick to judge others who are so mind-blowingly open minded and welcoming. They should practice what they preach, I would say.

In the meantime - Trevor, thank you SO much for the Garage YYC.

Avoid at all costs. Probably has no business license and is trashing up the neighborhood.

His response to a previous review here is a great display of his immaturity and failure to run a business.

This is NOT a business, this is a private residence where loud parties with friends are thrown. Please remove this from Google and clean up your act.

I've been coming here for years. It all started when my car broke down and I couldn't get a tow for 3hrs.

Just when my day was as bad as it could ever be I went on Google and found this place.

I could feel the power and adrenaline pulsating within as I entered. Everyone was super friendly and if the beautiful woman didn't get you, their tea would. It could be described as a potent beverage flavoured with sunshine and happiness.

The only downfall to this slice of heaven, but somehow also a source of entertainment, is some of the other local businesses unknowingly hate their lives and will try anything to make you as miserable as them.

At the end of the day I will continue to come to this cafe, drink the heavenly tea, ride a unicycle, shrug off the satanists, and meet amazing friends

A neighbourhood douchebro that decks out his garage and invites friends in at all hours does NOT a business make!

How is this even a legit place? It isn't. He sets up a Google page and has all his buddies give nonsensical 5 star reviews to stroke his ego and pretend he's getting farther in life socially. Congratulations, you're popular with your pals, but that doesn't mean you're a restaurant, cafe, or lounge just because you constantly host a smattering of followers. Forget a liquor license, there's no license full stop to run anything: no goods to sell, services to render, completely illegal if there were--and "great other herbs" as someone else mentioned? That's cute, and further grounds for investigation.
