Asked for reservations on groupon voucher but only one other table was occupied but it was a late weekday night. Waiter (owner)? was very friendly and attentive. Other table was occupied by locals so waiter apologized for any disturbances especially since my daughter is pre-teen. It was very appreciative. My daughter ordered the lasagna which she really enjoyed. Very cheesy. I was in the mood for a smoked meat sandwich which I was searching for. It wasn't the best but I wasn't disappointed. Waiter gave us a free desert for any disturbances throughout our dinner which was very nice.

Waitress no friendly to asian. Flatter only to caucasian.

Fresh is a very misleading description here. Slow service too.

Great service. You can tell that the server cares. Prices are okay but the food is worth the price. Will definitely go back there!

I go here every once in a while for workday lunch with coworkers, mainly due to the economy as this is relatively an inexpensive meal. I have never been a fan of their Italian inspired basic pub/neighbourhood diner fare. They used to be called The Black Cat, but don't let the name change fool you... there is absolutely nothing else that has changed about this place. It's very basic - they use the same ingredients in multiple dishes. So if you're looking for variety or something interesting... it's all pretty "meh". My last meal was the Chicken Wrap, which is listed as having Caesar salad greens in it - however, they basically just put the whole salad on there (croutons included). Quality is really hit and miss... sometimes you only get a small portion of your side, sometimes the server(s) are great, other times they try to take your order without mentioning the daily specials, and you may wait forever for a refill on your drink (BUT they've never been rude). If you want somewhere cheap, generally fast, and nothing special... this place should generally satisfy.

Mike Sr and Jr helped me host my fundraising dinner. They were amazing! The Authentic Italian dinner, service staff, helpfulness in setup. Great, convenient location. Reasonably priced. A fabulous event thanks to them.

First time was good, so I took my friend with me on the second time. Had diarrhea the day after. Would not recommend.

PS. The waiter smoke too much
