very very dissatisfied with the gear center they use cheap substandard parts and proved to them that there part was defective and sure they replaced that part but what about the labor that i'm out cuz i had to take that transmission out again all i got was a sorry and sorry doesn't cut it i highly recommend buying your parts somewhere else one star is too good for that place

Called they said 4-5 hours to change over ring and pinion. The diff was out . They said 3-4 days a week later they call and said the bearing kit will be about $100 approx. 2 days later they call come pu your diff Its $1375 dollars. I asked how from 4 to 5 hrts at $105 a hr do we end up at 1375 we put 2 new seals in 38 dollars each. I complain they drop bill to $1081. I pay and pick it up deliver direct to courtesy Chrysler. They install and put oil in. Oil leaks out the one side seal all over there floor. I fax gear centre about issue 4 times no reply. I send last fax stating I am going to dispute cc because I had to credit courtesy $453 in labor and a seal. Another great local experience..Yeah that's why my first 3 faxes went unanswered. If you cant quote a job within a reasonable percentage then don't quote. If you told me $1300 to change a ring and pinion in the first place I would have never taken the order from courtesy and lost money. there WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY DIFF. ONLY GEAR CHANGE STOP LYING

If I could give zero stars I would, I will never, I repeat never go to the gear centre again, the customer service is absolutely horrible. They are dishonest and even when it is proven they did not fix what was wrong in the first place (even before we left the shop, it was pointed out right to them) they make you pay an absurd amount of money just to get your vehicle back. They have the most dishonest, egotistical, idiots working here, never mind that they are extremely over priced, I ended up having to pay DOUBLE what our quote was. STAY AWAY FROM THE GEAR CENTRE, THEY THINK THEY HAVE THE MARKET CORNERED FOR THE SERVICES THEY PROVIDE, THEY DO NOT. THERE ARE OTHER COMPANIES OUT THERE YOU JUST NEED TO LOOK.

Friendly,helpful, had almost all the parts no1 else in town has for my rear end. Would highly recommend the gear center or Pats driveline to anyone.
