Hey Everyone! Don't let the weather foul you. Evening with AEV is still on :-) Paul and the AEV 1500 Ram are now here at the shop prepping for this evening. See you then!

The Gear Shop would like to invite you to join us on Friday, June 22nd at 6:00 p.m. for An Evening With AEV, presented by AEV’s Paul Stapell.
As many of you know, AEV is a respected manufacturer of Jeep Wrangler and Dodge RAM accessories. Paul from AEV will walk guests through the engineering, manufacturing and testing processes used by AEV to produce their unique accessories. Specific areas of discussion will include suspension geometry, spring and shock tuning and overall accessory performance characteristics.
An Evening with AEV will be free of charge and will include both drinks and dinner provided by The Gear Shop and AEV. If you would like to join us for this special event, please RSVP to Christian Ortiz at: christian(at)thegearshop.ca

Before “overlandering” there was do it all and do it well. We still apply our basic philosophy to vehicles regardless of the times.
For the athlete that climbs, caves, Mt Bikes, splitboards, ski tours then off roads harder than most to get to backcountry stoke... to the 4WD’er that enjoys the challenging long distance trails in Moab or Rubicon or Dusy or in our backyard... to the gravel burner that eats gravel roads for work and play.... We’ve consulted, designed and built... this type of vehicle longer than Instagram existed.
There’s no place in Canada with the deep 4WD knowledge, training, community, guided trips, auto service, 4WD designs and builds than The Gear Shop.

They provide good products but if it’s not in stock in the store I wouldn’t bother. Had them do a quote on some rims they were $250 more per rim that a competitor wouldn’t price match. Had them bring in some fibreglass fenders took them almost 4 months... the gear shop had blamed the manufacture so I called them to see what was up. Turns out the real hold up was that the gear shop hadn’t paid for them for 3-4 weeks after I had paid in full. Took them a month to get them shipped without any explanation... When confronted about that all they had to say was sorry. I wouldn’t not ever use them for anything no would I trust them. This was not a $10.0 order this was $2500.00 worth of stuff and I would have thought it would deserve more attention.

Don't really know what they are trying to be, come off as a bunch of hipster douchebags. Not worth your time to stop by.
