Beautiful and romantic! My wife and I stayed here for a quick Calgary getaway and I was skeptical honestly... we usually opt for "bigger" hotels. This was amazing, we both agreed it is our favorite hotel PERIOD. We stayed in a King Suite on the top floor with the claw foot tub and it was very relaxing. Enjoyed the fireplace, the tea settings, and the staff was eager to go above and beyond at every turn. The little pub/restaurant downstairs was very charming and had outstanding food, drinks and service. I highly recommend this place!

The waitress was wonderful. But the other three in our party got their food way before I did. In fact they were almost done by the time mine came out. Also, the workers left the back door open causing a very cold draft, and kept propping it open no matter how many times we asked them to close them. None of this, however, will stop me from going back.

Had brunch at the Inn. The pub was a great old British style pub! Menu looked great! Had a delicious omelette for breakfast. The decor had elements of a traditional pub but tons of the mountain town history, from coal mining to mountain climbing. Loved it! Definitely check it out.

We stayed at Georgetown inn for one night and really enjoyed it. The bedroom had a lot of character (English style), was clean, quiet, and the bed was SO AMAZING, didn’t want to leave it in the morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Victoria room we stayed in was lovely. So spacious, full of little perks and everything we needed. The jetted tub was awesome. The place as a whole was really nice and we ate once in the restaurant which was good too.

We came here to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Very noisy room next to the stairs and lobby. We paid $400 a night for room that had a tiny TV.  Vaccuuming done outside our room at 9am. No plugs near the beds. Stained carpets and bathroom grout. Slow bathroom drain. In-room coffee came out grey in color. Nice decor in the room and the staff was very nice but that is the only good things I can say. Would not recommend.

Amazing Scottish pub downstairs lots of cheap, good food option. Portion is unbelievably large.

I like the feel of the restaurant, friendly and cosy. There is a huge patio at the side of the hotel restaurant. Restaurant is accessible from within the hotel too.

Overall I love the style of the hotel, classic black, white, and red colour scheme. Hotel room was very large.

The only thing about it I didn't quite like is that the cleaning services were consistent, some days the person would do a good job cleaning but some days the person does a lazy job.

The hotel is a bit old and a bit dusty. Good thing is it can be pet friendly if you contact the front desk in advance.

The room was really nice and clean. The soaking tub in the main room was a welcome addition I've never had in a hotel room before. I also really liked all the posters of Hollywood movies that had been filmed locally (partially or fully). The placards on the posers gave the filming locations which made it easy to pick out hiking spots.

Oh. My. Lands. Such a wonderful experience. We are from Calgary and needed time away from the kids and work. We stayed a weekend and it was perfect here!!!

They had just finished a three week reno on some rooms and we were the first ones to stay in ours! I highly recommend room #206. There was a lovely dish of butter cookies and tea tray to meet us. The colors were calming and the fixtures were modern. I loved the fact they kept the corridors and common areas original. A perfect blend of past and present. Truly relaxing. The stand alone tub and bath salts were a lovely touch. Super super clean and the windows let in such a beautiful light. The bed was comfortable, and furniture plush. I'd book this again.

We're regulars at the Georgetown pub. Our usual is fish and chips, half salad, half chips. If that isn't the best f&c in town it's awfully close. Friendly staff give good service, too.

It is a very comfortable place. Beautiful and tasteful inside and out! Very friendly and courteous staff. Clean, tidy and very warm atmosphere. Reasonable rates, too!

Georgetown Inn was unique and adorable - and affordable! It was bursting with character. They happily let our family of 6 (kids ages 4-9) take a room with 2 queen beds. Our kids were thrilled with that room's golfing theme. There was a tea tray with a pot and 2 tea cups, and two shortbread cookies that melted into creamy, buttery goodness in our mouths. In the corner was a little electric woodstove which added buckets to the charm and experience. ♡ The elevator was another memory all on its own - so cool! We checked out the pub - excellent service and drinks, beautiful rustic/eclectic atmosphere; cracking fireplace at one end. We did find our room was a little tired in the sense it could have used a fresh coat of paint, but I wouldn't change anything else. The bathroom had been renovated at some point and was beautiful - and very clean - but lost the rustic charm of the rest of the place. Shower was lovely.
We can't wait to go back!
