A girl (unfortunately didn't give her name when she answered the phone) at customer service is extremely rude. She felt the need to correct myself (on the phone) and my coworker (in person). These corrections were extremely unnecessary as it was very much a matter of semantics. Had she even been more polite about it, it wouldn't have been an issue.

Customer service also had no clue about our order and the ladies at the desk spent a few minutes chatting before they decided that they would look at the counter to check if there is a customer there.

Very disappointed. I will not be directing anyone to this location and will likely not be shopping here again.

I was actually here a few days prior to this day and waited for a long time before I could get any help. People looked at me and before I could say anything they swiftly walked away after making eye contact. I walked passed an unapproachable woman twice who didn't even make eye contact or smile or acknowledge me in any way. I was obviously looking for something as I walked down the same isle looking at the signs for a good 5 minutes.

Ever heard of the 10 ft rule? Maybe management should consider teaching this to their staff.

I would have approached her if she didn't look so miserable...terrible.

The girl at the lumber till was really nice though...

Clean, well located store. Had what we needed. I was going to rate 3 stars based on a very rude employee, but someone else went above and beyond and took care of us and helped more than most would. He's the reason I'll come back

Customer service is terrible. Picked up a couple of perennials because they were discounted. There was no one at the till in garden centre so went to self check out. Started ringing through the plants and realized the discount was not being applied. When I asked the girl at the self check out for help she was almost annoyed that I interrupted her coffee break with her friend. She did call someone to check on the price. Then she rudely said "why don't you start ringing through the rest of your plants so you are not just standing there" Then she went back to socializing with her friend. Discount was applied in the end if it hadn't I would have walked out, not for the few dollars I was saving but for the terrible customer service. Maybe this is what passes for good customer service these days, sad very sad.

Our go to store for anything they carry. Quality is usually good or better, and if you can't find what you need, there's always someone to help. Garden center was a bit flooded; I expect watering of plants, but giant puddles suck to walk through. Selection of plants was great this season.

Hi my name is Rick. I was visiting your St. Albert location and was loading a tonne of materials in to the van with my 67 year old father. I could see the my dad was getting tired, so I approached a Home Depot employee, his name is Chris Thaxter, and asked him if he would give me a hand. Chris Thaxter immediately stopped what he was doing and helped me load every single last piece of material into the van. I also asked him for a few construction pointers. Chris was extremely polite, very knowledgeable and I believe that he went above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Keep up the great work Chris and the entire Home Depot Team. Thank You for your help and amazing hospitality :)

Customer service leaves something to be desired. Had to ask employees to page someone for us twice. Probably waited 15 minutes for someone to finally come help. And the store wasn't super busy.

Ordered some siding for a repair and I was able to find a match for what I needed and when I ordered it I arranged for delivery of the 12' long pieces because I do not own a 12' long truck (makes perfect sense). Fast forward a couple of weeks my product arrived at the store and now they are wanting me to pay $60 to have it delivered because they say it wasn't arranged.

The staff were amazing! Very friendly, very helpful! One staff member, Robert I think his name is, helped tremendously with a door knob with lock. Another staff also was very helpful when we looked at storm doors. Other staff approached us on their own and asked if they could help us!! The store itself is nice and well stocked. We live about 2 hours away from St Albert, and we will go back there again.
