if there was a way to give ZERO stars. I would give it. Rude staff on the phone. I Tried calling, they picked up, directed my call, didn't get answered, it came back to them asking me "how man I direct your call"..this is not even the problem..when I talked to someone , they told me an item was in store..I came to the store..a guy in plumbing was supposed to help me, he looked for like 30seconds for the item with me and just walked away to help someone else. I waited in the store for about 35mins for someone to help me..there was no one in plumbing... until some two ladies whose seen me waiting for a while from another department tried to help..they looked and said they don't find the item..in total I waster 45mins of my morning for nothing. and the guy who was supposed to help..I don't know if he was racist or just pure classless. either way, it was just ridiculous. never coming here again even if it was the last store on the planet.

Went there to pay the card. The lady at the customer service (her name was kit) was very very rude and had a rasict tone..I would have complained to the store manager right away if she wasn't an old lady. Home Depot is gonna loose their customers if they staff with such a bad attitude.

Went to the store and bought a freezer and washer that were scheduled today for delivery. Delivery guys showed up and only had the freezer NO WASHER!!! The delivery guys said that was that they gave them. Not their fault. ALL Blame goes on The Home Depot. We have kids that need clean clothes. Hey Home Depot you just lost a customer and any recommendations that I was gonna give are now sour. GOOD JOB!!

I have had terrible bad buying experience at this store tonight .when I purchased a small metal piece like magnate lock and have been waiting in the aisle for 40 min for services after more than 3 times request to customer service.I asked the employee in customer service his manager 's name and phone number. He refused to share. When we buy the item without any assistance from the store and checked out, another cashier told us there is the manager name on top of the receipt. Back to customer service,I requested his name.He wrote down his name on my receipt "HAMAD"with a big star and four heavily underlines! The customer service demonstrates so rude and unprofessional What he did represents HomeDepot and made us very angry and frustrating! We shame on Home Depot with such a unprofessional employee and what he did is unacceptable regarding to Home Depot's mission and vision and code of conduct!

Its got a lot of hardware, and is a very helpful store. Its just not very aesthetically pleasing on the inside. It looks very unrenovated.

Still waiting for The Home Depot to deliver a door that was supposed to be here hours ago.
- we were told it would be delivered between 8am-4pm, but very likely before noon.
- after not getting ahold of the delivery driver, we spoke to customer service (multiple times) who assured us it would be delivered soon.
- by 5pm when the door hadn't come, we went down to the Home Depot where we originally purchased the door and set up delivery. We were told that the door didn't make it in the delivery truck this morning and would be delivered tomorrow. We explained that we had children at home and had the door taken out in preparation for the new door, and that we can't leave our home open all night long. With some pressure, they said they would have it delivered within the hour.
- we've waited over an hour and the delivery driver still isn't here, and if it does come tonight we still have to install it.

This is some of the poorest customer service we've encountered. Definitely will not be using The Home Depot for any future purchases.

Stopped by to grab a blind, which needed to be cut to length, but could not find anyone to help. I asked three employees to page someone to cut the blinds. The last employee tracked the one and only person working both flooring and drapery in the lunch room, who apparently would not come help until she was done with her sandwich (eta 20 Min).
Left and stopped at Lowes. In & out in 5 Minutes
Guess where all my business is going now???

On Wednesday, May 24th, Calgary was issued a wind warning and it was pouring rain outside. We own a trampoline, needed to grab 4 bags of play sand to help anchor it down. My daughter and I stopped in to Country Hills Home Depot. As we were about to load a cart, along came a employee named Jason - I need to say ABOVE and BEYOND customer service. You really don't see this kind of customer service, I believe many can learn from him. Jason, grabbed an employee to help him load 4 bags of sand, then brought the cart to the till. Advised he was helping me load them, in the pouring rain may I add. Also gave my daughter a umbrella to walk to the truck with. Loaded the sand into my truck, we thanked him for his kind service. Just awesome customer service, Thank you Home Depot for having Jason represent you on the front lines. We will be spreading the word of his kindness!

Close by me. Lots of different selection, but not good service

Better prices and better selection than Rona or lowes. Always easy to deal with staff when you can find them.

Went in 15 mins before closing and was told by 2 cashiers that they were closed and we couldnt come in. I looked at my watch and said I still had 15 mins and I knew what I needed and where it was and Id be 5 mins tops. Nope no dice with these guys what a joke

One of the worst experiences ever.. Have ordered paint and requested paint to be mixed to certain color. (from BEHR palette - home depot main choice) A Person behind the counter did his job and after mixing it said that it will turn darker to gray (requested gray and got blue) ... AS soon as I stepped out on daily light turned out color to be blue, not gray.. Went back to customer service, asked to be remixed, paint replaced, as it was only minutes after the purchase, ladies at customer service said that they can do nothing even with the fact that paint guy from paint dept made mistake..it was a mistake done by store rep ... At paint desk second lady said that color is as is with no possibility to get asket color from BEHR palette of colors ( she said that they cant mix requested paint as advertised on samples) !!!! ... UNBELIEVABLE..UNREAL... Spent $250 on useless paint... Went to RENO DEPOT and those guys were much more professional to deal with .right color was mixed ... I don't think that I will ever buy a paint from HOME DEPOT... (not from this store definitely)
